‘Back To The Future’ Day: Watch Teens Freak Out Over Sequel Set In 2015

Happy ‘Back To The Future Day’! Today, Oct. 21, 2015, is the day that Marty McFly traveled to in ‘Back to the Future Part II’. Fine Brothers Entertainment showed teens scenes from the movie, and once they hear the date, they totally freak out. WATCH the hilarious video here!

It’s finally here: Oct. 21, 2015 is the day that Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) tells Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Jennifer (Elisabeth Shue) they’ll be visiting in 1989’s Back to the Future Part II. To celebrate today, some YouTube geniuses made a hilarious reaction video, in which teens lose their minds once they find out that today is the date from the movie. Watch the Teens React video and let us know what you think!

In the video, the teens are super excited as soon as they figure out what they’re watching. “This is my favorite movie of all time!” says Derek, 14.  Some even mouth the lines along with the movie. (Also, some miss the point — “are they coming out with another one?”.) Then they’re shown the scene where the gang is in a time machine. “Where are we? When are we?” Marty asks. Doc answers: “We’re descending toward Hill Valley, California, at 4:29 pm, on Wednesday, October 21st, 2015.” Cue the teens freaking out — they grab their hair and their jaws drop, and a few laugh hysterically.

Besides the comical reactions to that bit of news, people also made fun of the fashion in the ’80s movie and brought up that in Back to the Future’s 2015, there are hoverboards — so where are ours?! “Come on, scientists, it’s 2015,” one teen says. EXACTLY.

Michael J. Fox & Christopher Lloyd Return As Marty McFly & Doc

Sorry, Back to the Future fans — there’s no revival in the works, but we were treated with a reunion of sorts in the form of the video game LEGO Dimensions. The game, which was released in Sept., features Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd once again as the voices of Marty and Doc! It’s available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation4 and PlayStation3, and the Wii U.
