What do Casey Anthony, Spencer Pratt and Jon Gosselin have in common? A new poll suggests they’re the most hated people in America!

These public figures top findings by Nielsen subsidiary E-Poll Market Research, the New York Post reports. Joining them are famous names such as O.J. Simpson, Paris Hilton and ‘Octomom’ Nadya Suleman, all making way on the following top 10 list:

1. Casey Anthony
2. Spencer Pratt
3. Octomom
4. O.J. Simpson
5. Jon Gosselin
6. Levi Johnston
7. Jesse James
8. Paris Hilton
9. Heidi Fleiss
10. Howard Stern

“A lot of the folks on this list are people who are constantly in the news and have nonredeeming qualities,” Mary Ann Farrell, Senior Vice President of Researchv at E-Poll, says.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt shot to fame with their hateful “Speidi” antics on The Hills. Along with Lauren Conrad they were arguably the most famous of the cast, and gained millions of dollars from a career built on reality TV. Now, they are living at Spencer’s parents’ beach house in Santa Barbara, and they are completely broke. So what happened to the money?

“We never had any!” Spencer tells the Daily Beast. He explains to the reporter that they spent their money as soon as they received it. The article reports, “Spencer estimated they spent $2 million on Heidi’s ill-fated pop-music career, hiring writers, producers, and engineers who worked with Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, and Lady Gaga.” Spencer revealed they spent a fortune on their wardrobe. “I probably spent a million dollars on suits and fancy clothes. My whole million-dollar wardrobe—I would never wear that again. They’re props. Everything we were doing, we were buying props. I bought a big blue monster truck just to drive it on The Hills for an episode. Never drove it again.”

Heidi regrets how they spent their money, but says she thought she’d end up as successful as Kim Kardashian. “I should have known growing up and not having any money ever that I should have kept every dollar that I had,” she confessed. “I thought I was investing in myself and my brand. Like Kim. When she buys these clothes, she’s investing in herself. Because she is a big brand and is likeable. I thought I had that potential. My ego got too big. To think I could be someone like that when I was the most hated girl ever.”

Now Spencer has a new philosophy on life: “Reality TV is not a career. Anyone who says, ‘Oh, you can have a career in reality’—that is a lie.” That being said, he still says he would take a job on the Jersey Shore and Heidi is currently appearing on VH1’s Famous Food.

For now Spencer says they read a lot of books and “all we eat are tacos and burritos. Whereas we used to eat at Cut.”

He muses on his life and how much money they lost and said, “I thought when this was all over, I could get on an interview and say, ‘It was all entertainment.’ I thought I was the Wizard of Oz, like, I’m the guy behind the curtain.”

Have you been losing sleep, wondering what Heidi Montag has been up to for the past year? Well, wonder no more! “I’ve kind of been in hiding, eating pie with my husband and puppies,” Heidi told Us Weekly at a pool party June 18 at Las Vegas’ Wet Republic. But all that’s changed recently, as the former Hills star has decided to get back in shape. “I’ve been working out from, like, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. for two months now,” she claims.

“I was actually a lot overweight,” she continued, telling the mag she recently slimmed down from 130 to 103 lbs. “I needed to get back in shape. … I’ve been running a lot, and I’ve been doing weights.”

But it hasn’t been easy.

“My breasts, because they’re so big, really needed some time,” she told the mag. “So I’m just starting to work out again after my surgery. Sometimes I get shooting pains, but I hear that’s normal.”

And in case you’re looking for Heidi’s diet tips, said she’s been combatting her weakness for friend chicken and pie with apples and cherries.

Contractual obligations once banned her from the dance floor, but her failing health could keep Heidi away permanently!

Despite Heidi Montag‘s repeated interest in participating on Dancing With The Stars, it looks like she may never have the chance! RadarOnline.com reports the contractual agreements the 24-year-old made when she signed up with The Hills prevented her from being on the show, and her regrettable plastic surgery decisions may keep her from ever dancing.

A source close to Heidi says she wanted to be on the show before her surgeries.

“I’m not sure if she wants to risk it now,” the source says. “She already took an elbow from a dancer on the set of her song, ‘Overdosin’,’ and she’s scared of getting hurt.”

Heidi infamously went under the knife in 2010 for ten plastic surgeries in one day — so we can see why she might be worried about injuries!

Heidi was allegedly in talks to host the Dancing With The Stars before it even began. The gig eventually went to Brooke Burke, but Heidi was later asked to be a contestant. Unfortunately she had prior commitments to The Hills, but even though she’s now free, it looks like she will never have a chance to dance her way back onto reality TV!

We feel bad for Heidi, but hopefully she will take some time out of the spotlight to enhance her health and restart her once-promising career!

Super-public dates and seemingly staged photos have us doubting these two big time!

There’s been a lot of talk about Taylor Swift, 20, and Jake Gyllenhaal, 29, lately. We know they went on three coffee dates in one week, we know they had a “romantic” rendezvous in London, and we know they spent Thanksgiving together with both of their families. But here’s the all-important question: Do you actually believe they’re dating? We don’t! We’ve analyzed the latest photos of the couple, published in the latest issue of Us Weekly, and we couldn’t help but notice these two performers really do look like they’re putting on a show.

While most A-list couples — the eternal union of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart comes to mind — do whatever they can to avoid the paparazzi, Jake and Taylor appear to be hamming it up for the cameras. Those huge smiles. Those exaggerated hugs. They’re like the new Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag! Seriously now, how many paparazzi are lurking around Park Slope in Brooklyn… on Thanksgiving?!

Here are a couple of theories we’ve got cooking as to why Taylor and Jake are faking it for the cameras:

1. Jake’s got a movie to promote! Jake’s current movie, Love and Other Drugs, may feature nakedness aplenty between him and Anne Hathaway, but it isn’t doing quite as well at the box office s he probably hoped. The drama only grossed $14.5 million in its first five days, according to Deadline.com. And is there really any better way to drum up much-needed buzz than a highly publicized romance?
2. Taylor’s fishing for material! Taylor’s latest album, Speak Now, didn’t sell more than 1 million copies in its first week for no reason. Her fans wanted answers! Now that Taylor is openly writing songs about her exes, she’s got a whole new legion of followers — and if she wants to keep this momentum going, she needs to be in the public eye with a controversial man on her arm. Enter Jake… whose name rhymes with fake. Just saying.

We sent the latest photos of Jake and Taylor to body language expert Dr. Lillian Glass, who says the pair’s positioning speaks volumes about their possible showmance:

“She has her hand clenched, which means there’s kind of a discomfort level,” Dr. Glass points out. “This relationship is awkward very awkward, there are more like friends if anything. There’s no romance between them.”

Interesting… very interesting.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have just released a ridiculous video of them being swarmed by the LAPD — do you think it’s real?

Spencer Pratt has some nerve! The desperate reality star claims that police surrounded his Malibu mansion in January, after neighbors claimed they saw him kidnap someone. Spencer, who just happened to have his Flipcam handy at the time, videotaped the entire thing, and tells RadarOnline.com that the police were under the impression that “we were holding someone hostage.”

His wife, Heidi Montag, had just undergone 10 plastic surgery procedures, and Spencer says that because they had “rushed” her into the house with a scarf around her head, eyewitnesses thought it was a bag over a victim’s head.

In the “dramatic” video, you see Spencer ordered to get down on his knees, and police helicopters circling overhead. The whole thing just seems incredibly fake — don’t you think?
