Annabel Tollman, 36, died of a blood clot on June 7 in her sleep. She was a stylist to the stars and had countless inspirational editorials in some of the biggest fashion magazines. From Liv Tyler to Shakira to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Annabel Tollman styled some of the biggest female celebrities. Tollman transformed Liv Tyler from being totally safe and kind of boring and made her sleek and fashionable. Scarlett Johansson needed Tollman’s styling help as she embarked on the Lost in Translation red-carpet premiere circuit in 2003. Even the Olsen twins were dressed prim and proper under Annabel’s care. Selma Blair, Jessica Simpson and many others have all been privy to her stylish ways as well and they all looked flawless under her direction.

Fashionistas, magazine editors and fellow stylists everywhere have taken to Twitter to express their emotions about Annabel’s death. Michelle Trachtenberg tweeted: “I’m deeply devastated over the loss of my dear friend Annabel Tollman. A truly extraordinary wonderful woman who will be greatly missed.” L’Wren Scott also tweeted: “Sad news to hear the glamourous @AnnabelTollman RIP my beauty and glamour gal the ever chic and stylish always smiling and happy so special.”

Annabel was born in Brussels in 1977 and earned her degree in fashion journalism from Central St. Martins. Prior to taking on the role as a celebrity stylist, Annabel worked at Wallpaper* magazine and served as Interview magazine’s first-ever fashion director. She left the magazine to pursue celebrity styling full time in 2008. In 2010 she was voted one of the 50 most stylish New Yorkers by Stylecaster. In 2011 she was named one of the 25 most powerful stylists in Hollywood by The Hollywood Reporter. Additionally, her work has appeared in The New York Times, Vogue UK, The Daily Telegraph, Marie Claire, and WWD. She also appeared in a variety of television shows, including The Rachael Ray Show, LXTV, Fox News, and Kimora Lee Simmons’ Life in The Fab Lane. The talented stylist also contributed to Hollywood Life, providing red carpet recaps and award show roundups. At the time of her death, Annabel was in the process of developing a Bravo reality show.

Selma Blair has been busy playing the real-life role of new mommy to Arthur Saint Bleick and the TV role of a therapist in Charlie Sheen‘s hit comedy Anger Management. Despite those trouble pics, a source close to Selma tells HollywoodLife.com that she’s doing just fine!

A friend of Selma’s tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Selma is doing better than ever. She is an incredible mom and just adores her son Arthur. She has learned how to balance work and motherhood with such ease and is having fun doing both.”

“Selma has a wonderful sense of humor and that helps her keep a positive perspective on life and its challenges. Plus she is madly in love with her son, who means the world to her,” said the friend.

After her son was born, the actress spoke to People about the challenges of being a new mom, confessing, “This is so not glamorous, but it’s true — I need to take longer showers so that I can collect the hair that falls out and throw it away so I don’t clog the drain,” she told the mag. “It just started falling out at the three-month mark. And I’m not a girl who likes extensions, so Selma’s going to be bald!”

In addition to starring as Kate Wales in Anger Management, Selma has another project in the works — Four Saints, an historical drama about four inspirational nurses during World War 1. The actress may also reprise her role in Hellboy 3.

Selma Blair is an absolutely gorgeous and talented actress, but her weight is becoming a bit of a debate these days. The 40-year-old was spotted out in Laurel Canyon with her son Arthur and some fans think she looked too thin while photos showed her chest looking very gaunt.

Selma recently broke up with her baby daddy and fashion designer, Jason Bleick and some feel like this could be the cause of her recent weight loss.

The two were spotted running around as Selma pushed Arthur in his toy car. The actress and Jason started dating in 2012 and broke up just 14 months after their son with born.

At the time a source told Us Weekly that they were “fighting nonstop.” Selma updated her Twitter status in September in relation to the split: “I never announced anything. They choose to write whatever they feel. I do not have a new boyfriend. My son is it.”

Selma recently spoke about how the birth of her son caused her to start losing her hair:

Selma Blair‘s beautiful baby boy, Arthur Saint, was born just four weeks ago, and she is thrilled!  However, she told PEOPLE that she’s experiencing an annoying (but common) problem for new mamas — hormonal hair loss!

And I’m not a girl who likes extensions, so Selma’s going to be bald!”

Selma Blair talked to HollyBaby.com exclusively about her post baby body — and how breast feeding hasn’t helped — at the 2011 Style Awards in LA Nov. 13

Unlike most moms in Hollywood, Selma Blair isn’t stressing about dropping the weight she gained while pregnant with her nearly four month old son, Arthur Saint — she told HollyBaby.com she’s taking her time.

“I haven’t lost any baby weight yet. Nope, swear to God,” the 39-year-old actress and fashionista said at the 2011 Style Awards at Smashbox Studios in Hollywood Nov. 13. “Things have tightened up. When I left the hospital I was like, ‘Wow, I still look like I have a baby, but softer.’ “

She added, “Breast feeding hasn’t helped. But I think things are definitely tighter.”

Even though she swears she hasn’t dropped a pound, we thought Selma looked stunning in a vintage dress from the store Decades, to which she was presenting the award that night for “Hollywood Boutique of the Year.” To hear how motherhood has changed her, watch the rest of our interview with Selma above.
