Poor Hoda Kotb. Kathie Lee Gifford lured her into making the most private of revelations — Hoda’s private area is shaped like a “landing strip” – and then she told her that it’s just “wrong!”

Was it the wine? Was it the St. Patrick’s Day green-colored beer that the ladies were drinking on Friday, March 15th’s episode of Today?

In any case, Hoda couldn’t stop blushing after Kathie Lee continued to needle her – “it is a new landing strip? No one likes an old landing strip!” Not to worry though, Hoda confirmed “everything’s new.”

“Hoda just told the whole world she has a landing strip!” Kathie Lee said, looking shocked. Hoda, clearly embarrassed added that she didn’t even realize what she had said until Kathie Lee repeated it. “Those things live in infamy!”

We’ll say so!

What Kathy Lee’s Doing “Down There”

The co-hosts were covering a report done by TheFrisky.com about personal grooming when Hoda’s confession slipped out. So, what about Kathie Lee?

“I only do what I need to do,” Kathie Lee said, but Hoda kept asking what that meant. “It only matters to the person that has access! I love you, but you’re not my type.”

Oh, it gets better.

“I’m the one that believes that whatever God created on this planet is beautiful, sometimes gardens need tending, however it doesn’t mean it’s not still a garden.”

If you look up the word “shameless” in the dictionary, you’ll probably see a picture of Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. More specifically, you’ll see them in dog costumes, which they sported March 13 on the Today show as a thank-you to their viewers for getting them more than 500,000 likes on Facebook. Needless to say, it made us — and everyone at The Soup, I’m sure — fall in love with the drinking duo all over again.

“I’m not on Facebook, personally,” Kathie Lee admitted. “But I’m told it’s a very important thing.”

Fashion-forward Hoda sported a chic black-and-white dog suit, while Kathie Lee opted for a more traditional brown-with-white-tummy look. It should also be noted that The Baha Men‘s seminal hit “Who Let The Dogs Out” was playing, as Hoda and Kathie Lee have phenomenal taste in music.

Hoda Dog-B Reaches Her Breaking Point

But even though the ladies admitted they’d do anything for more Facebook likes, Hoda adamantly drew the line at barking.

“I have my journalistic standards,” she insisted — as she removed her doggy paws and picked up her glass of wine.

Shortly before going on the air, Kathie Lee tweeted a behind-the-scenes shot of her dog day with Hoda, saying, “Another day of begging for FB likes! the peanut butter dog treats aren’t bad.”

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may have been trying to keep reports of their baby’s gender under wraps, but the truth was officially revealed on Feb. 26 during the fourth hour of Today when Kardashian family friend Kathie Lee Gifford let it slip that Kim is pregnant with a girl!

During the fourth hour of Today, Kathie Lee talked about how she and her BFF Kris Jenner were out to lunch in LA, and Kim called Kris on her cell phone. Kathie said Kim had just gotten back from her vacation to Rio de Janeiro with boyfriend Kanye the day before, and was already on her way to Nigeria.

“She is four months pregnant, I think now with her little girl, and I said ‘where’s Kim?’ and she said ‘At the airport,” Kathie Lee said, adding that she was already on her way to Nigeria  Although she never acknowledged her word vomit, we’re pretty sure Kim and Kanye wouldn’t want their big news to be revealed by Kathie Lee Gifford!

Kathie Lee Originally Refused To Comment On Kim’s Baby

After reports that Kim was expecting a girl surfaced last week, Kathie Lee said on Today that she had just spoken with Kris Jenner, and wasn’t going to comment on the story either way. But now, her confirmation says it all!

Victoria Gifford Kennedy, who was the mother of the bride at the wedding, told the Boston Herald Taylor Swift was not welcome at the wedding and when she showed up, and was asked to leave. Today show host Kathie Lee Gifford was also a guest at the wedding and confirmed this report on her show.

“They texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come,” Vicki Kennedy said to the paper. “I responded with a very clear, ‘Please do not come.’ They came anyway. … I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave. It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me.”

On August 23 on Today, Kathie Lee confirmed Vicki’s story, saying that Conor Kennedy had not RSVP’d to Vicki’s daughter’s wedding. He asked Vicki if he could bring his girlfriend — Taylor. Vicki politely said no but then he came with her anyway. Vicki reportedly asked Taylor to leave the event twice.

Kathie Lee saw Conor take Taylor’s hand and leave but Kathie Lee didn’t realize the drama that was going on until she saw it in the papers the next day.

Hoda commented that she understood where Vicki was coming from. It was Vicki’s daughter’s big day — not Taylor’s day to steal her thunder!

Regis Philbin could be reuniting with his former co-star Kathie Lee Gifford on the Today show!

A new report reveals that the 10 a.m. host Hoda Kotb could be taking Ann Curry‘s seat on the main show, and if this happens, Regis, 81, could be in line to fill Hoda’s seat, the New York Post reports.

And Regis — even though he’s retired — would definitely consider an offer.

“I never gave it another thought and all of the sudden these things are happening at NBC one day after another,” Philbin told The New York Post

However, Regis told The Post he’s not sure if he would like doing five days a week.

Hmm! Even thought we love Hoda and Kathie Lee — Regis would be a great fit.
