The stars shined bright throughout the night as they mixed and mingled at TIME‘s 100 Gala at Lincoln Center in New York City on April 23. The magazine’s elegant cocktail party celebrated the top 100 influential people in the world, ranging from Hollywood stars to CEOs. Among the stars honored were the talented Lena Dunham and the beautiful Christina Aguilera. Amy Poehler and Olivia Munn looked absolutely gorgeous — who had the best beauty look?

‘TIME’ 100 Gala Beauty — Lena’s Sweet Hair & Makeup

The Girls creator and star keep it simple and sweet as she partied the night away in her gold, low-cut halter dress. She donned stunning ‘Premier Gem for Forevermark Diamond Stud Earrings’ that definitely sparkled in the spotlight. Lena’s short brown hair was styled with a cute side fringe to add just the perfect touch to her frame. The starlet kept her makeup very simple by highlighting her beautiful, brown eyes and adding a pretty pink lip.

Amy Poehler’s Stunning Beauty

Amy joined her girl pal Lena at the Gala to celebrate the extraordinary accomplishments she has achieved. The Parks and Recreation star looked stunning in her lace Tadashi Shoji dress with her matching peep-toe heels. Amy’s hair and makeup was fabulous as she rocked her short and wavy bob along with a a pink lip that complimented her blue eyes.

Christina Aguilera’s Sexy & Sophisticated Style

The beautiful Christina Aguilera rocked her sexy, new figure in a long and elegant black dress. The former Voice coach gave the Gala guests one heck of a show as she performed at the party along with R&B singer Miguel. Christina sported a sophisticated makeup look with fierce lashes and a bold, red lip.

Olivia Munn’s Flawless Skin

Olivia Munn always looks stunning wherever she goes. Her radiant skin was so beautiful next to her yellow Michael Kors dress. The actress tucked her sleek and straight black hair behind her ears to show of her flawless skin to the cameras. Olivia sported a very natural makeup look with a nude lip and a thick, defined brow.

Remember that time Taylor Swift couldn’t take a joke? Sorry, let me be more specific: Remember at the 2013 Golden Globes, when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler warned Taylor to “stay away from Michael J. Fox‘s son?” In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Taylor slammed the hostesses for their remark, saying, “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.” Thankfully, Tina and Amy have a better sense of humor.

“If anyone was going to get mad at us, I thought it would be James Cameron,” Tina told Entertainment Tonight at the NYC premiere of Admission. ”I did not see that one coming. It was a joke. It was a lighthearted joke.”

Amy, for whatever reason, was more sympathetic to Taylor — who really should just be able to take a freakin’ joke.

“Aw, I feel bad if she was upset,” Amy told The Hollywood Reporter. “I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff.”

Why Taylor Not Getting Amy & Tina’s Joke Is Kind Of Hilarious

There’s a beautiful irony in Taylor’s remark about “women who don’t help other women,” though I’m sure it would go right over Taylor’s boy-crazy head. Not only have Tina and Amy made incredible strides for women in their careers — Tina has helped paved the way for female comedy writers, while Amy’s Smart Girls YouTube channel is devoted to the empowerment of young girls — but Taylor has literally done the opposite.

Taylor’s entire career is based around letting boys and relationships determine her happiness — hence every song she’s ever written. Ever. Basically, she’s the reason guys think girls are crazy stalkers, so she has no right to talk about “women who don’t help other women.”

“Normal” isn’t a word I would use to describe either of NBC’s comedy queens — Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) on Parks & Recreation and Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) on the late-great 30 Rock — so I certainly wouldn’t expect either of them to sport a normal dress on their wedding day. We saw Liz tie the knot earlier this season, and on the Feb. 21 episode of Parks & Rec, we got to see Leslie swap vows with Ben (Adam Scott). Which of their unconventional get-ups did you like better?

Because Leslie and Ben’s wedding happened last-minute, she didn’t have a lot of time to plan — and that included shopping for a dress — so she tasked Ann (Rashida Jones) with whipping up the perfect gown.

“I was thinking the sensuality of Eleanor Roosevelt combined with the animal magnetism of Leslie Stahl,” she told Ann, which is exactly what she got.

The finished product was a dress made from all the “meaningful bills, pictures, documents and memos” from Leslie’s career, and she literally couldn’t have been more thrilled with it.

“It is the most beautiful object I’ve ever seen,” Leslie proclaimed. “It is the Ann Perkins of dresses. It is amazing.”

Liz Lemon’s Wedding Dress On ’30 Rock’

Arguably even weirder than Leslie’s newspaper dress was the Princess Leia-style dress Liz wore to her own nuptials in late 2012. Actually, scratch that, it wasn’t a Princess Leia-style dress; it was just a straight-up Princess Leia costume. The last time we saw Liz in all her Star Wars glory was when she tried to crazy her way out of jury duty back in 2008, which totally worked.

But as a wedding dress? Once again, it only worked because of the fine lady wearing it. And if there’s one thing I learned from 30 Rock, it was to accept absurdities without question. I mean, in what reality would Liz Lemon ever end up with James Marsden?

Amy replied: “Well, she’ll never make it in porn.” Tina then said: “I don’t think she has plans to do porn, Amy.”

Amy provided the zinger with, “None of us have plans to do porn, Tina.”

Amy Poehler‘s split from her husband of nine years, funny man Will Arnett, in September came as a huge shock to fans of the hilarious comedy couple, but their two sons, Archie, 4, and Abel, 2, are helping their mom through this difficult time.

“Amy loves having the boys around her and brings them to the set,” a source told Us Weekly. “Focusing on them has been taking her mind off of Will.”

As for how her adorable sons are handling the divorce, the source said Amy is making sure they transition smoothly.

“They both understand that things are different, but they’re easing into the situation. Amy is doing everything to keep them protected,” the insider said.

The source also said Ariche and Abel “like to know everyone and everything and explore” — sounds like she has her hands full!

Liz Lemon and Leslie Knope to host the Golden Globes?! NBC announced on Monday, Oct. 15 that funny ladies Tina Fey and Amy Poehler would be co-hosting the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, set to air January 13 on the Peacock network!

Replacing previous two-time host Ricky Gervais with Amy and Tina “to host this year’s festivities is a major coup,” said NBC’s president of alternative programming, Paul Telegdy. “Tina and Amy have a proven chemistry and comedic timing from their many years together on SNL to their successful co-starring roles in Baby Mama.”

Aida Takla-O’Reilly, president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association added, “The unparalleled comedic timing of Tina and Amy will surely have viewers wanting to tune-in to see them in action. The HFPA is thrilled to have the magnetic duo be a part of the show’s 70th anniversary!”

Fans were shocked and saddened when Amy Poehler and Will Arnett announced their separation last week — but despite their marriage troubles, the pair is committed to putting their two children, Archie and Abel, first.
“The romance between them may have died, but they are still very good friends and together they will make sure the kids don’t suffer in the break-up,” a source tells RadarOnline.com. “Amy and Will won’t fight over custody or money; everything will be just how it was when they came into their marriage nine years ago.”

When it comes to school plays and parent teacher conferences, the source says that both Will and Amy will take a hands on approach.

“They realize the kids will have difficulty adapting at first, but feel over time it’ll all work out,” the source explains. “It’s essential Archie and Abel are brought up in a loving environment, without any tension between their parents and that’s exactly what Amy and Will plan to do.”

Amy Poehler and Will Arnett are arguably one of the funniest couples in Hollywood, but their latest news is no laughing matter. According to Us Weekly, the two are separating after nine years of marriage!

A source tells the magazine, “It’s very amicable,” while the couple’s rep has confirmed the separation to the magazine, as well.

Amy, 40, and Will, 42, were married on August 29, 2003. The couple have two sons together, Archie, 3, and Abel, 2. This was Amy’s first marriage, while it was Will’s second. He was previously married to actress Penelope Ann Miller for one year until divorcing in 1995.
