After yesterday’s sentencing of Phillip and Nancy Garrido, graphic information of Jaycee Dugard’s imprisonment was released.
In Jaycee’s shocking victim impact statement, she explained, “In the beginning he said that I was helping him and that, you know, he had a sex problem and that, you know, he got me so that he wouldn’t have to do this to anybody else. So I was helping him.”

Ann Pettway, 44, admitted her crime to police today (Jan. 24). She confessed to giving Carlina White a new name and raising her as her own in Connecticut. She allegedly kidnapped the then three-week-old child while posing as a nurse at the Harlem Hospital in New York City. The snatcher is due to receive federal kidnapping charges after she turned herself in to the FBI on Sunday (Jan. 23).
