Jerry Hall (born Jerry Faye Hall on July 2, 1956 in Gonzales, Texas) is an American former model and actress. Jerry was raised in the Dallas suburb of Mesquite, Texas, graduating from North Mesquite High School before attending the Kim Dawson Modeling agency. After receiving an insurance money settlement from a car accident, she moved to France. Fashion agent Claude Haddad discovered Jerry while she was sunbathing on the French Riviera, convincing her to move to Paris. While there, Jerry shared an apartment with Grace Jones, and performed risqué cabaret acts in nightclubs. Her modeling career started after she moved in with fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez. Jerry appeared, as a mermaid, on the cover of Roxy Music’s album, Siren. In 1977, she appeared on forty magazine covers, including Italian Vogue and Cosmopolitan. She became a frequent guest at high-profile nightspots like Studio 54 and 21 Club. In 1980, she had a small role in Urban Cowboy, as well as 1989’s Batman. In the 2000s, Jerry appeared as Mrs. Robinson in a Broadway production of The Graduate. In 2005, she performed in a London production of Cole Porter’s High Society. In 2012, she joined the tenth season of the British dance show, Strictly Come Dancing. She would be the second person eliminated.

Personal Life:
In 1975, Jerry and Roxy Music’s lead singer, Bryan Ferry, became engaged. She left him in 1977 after meeting Mick Jagger, who was married to Bianca Jagger at the time. The couple married in a private ceremony in 1990, but the High Court of England and Wales invalidated the marriage nine years later when they broke up. Mick and Jerry have four children together — Elizabeth Scarlett, James Leroy, Georgia May and Gabriel Luke. In Oct. 2015, Jerry began a relationship with business magnate and newspaper mogul, Rupert Murdoch. She and Rupert announced their engagement on Jan. 11, 2016 and got married soon after on March 4, 2016 in London. News they were divorcing emerged in Jun. 2022.
