Eddie Montgomery (born on September 30, 1963 in Danville, Kentucky) is an American country singer. He is most widely recognized for being a part of the country group Montgomery Gentry, which was formed in 1999. Eddie and music partner Troy Gentry are known for songs like “If You Ever Stop Loving Me,” “Something To Be Proud Of” and “Roll With Me.” In 2009, Montgomery Gentry was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. Sadly, Eddie’s youngest son, Hunter, passed away on Sept. 27, 2015.

Eddie had four kids with ex-wife Tracy — Kevin, Brooke, Candace and Hunter. He married Jennifer Belcher in April 2014. Eddie was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2010 but was declared cancer free one year later.
