Stars Arrested In 2022: Tory Lanez & More — 2022 has been a busy year for celebrity run-ins with law enforcement. Stars haven’t exactly been on their best behavior. Some stars are accused of serious crimes while others were found a little worse for wear after a long night. (Please! Do we have to remind you, there is no excuse to drink or drive?!)

One of the most talked about celebrity crime cases was Tory Lanez assault of Megan Thee Stallion. The Canadian rapper was arrested in Apr. 2022 in relation to a 2020 shooting. Tory was found guilty of shooting the rapper in the feet after a heated argument erupted following party at Kylie Jenner’s home.

ASAP Rocky

ASAP Rocky — ASAP Rocky, seen here during the 2021 Met Gala. He was arrested in Apr. 2022 while touching down at LAX airport after a trip to Barbados with pregnant girlfriend Rihanna. He was charged with ‘assault with a deadly weapon’ over a Nov. 2021 shooting incident. The musical artist was released on $550K bail.

Irene Bedard

Irene Bedard — Irene Bedard, the voice actress behind Pocahauntus, was arrested in Aug. 2022 in Greene County, Ohio. She reportedly had to be separated from another woman by police after an argument escalated into a screaming match that lead the arrested “into the street screaming, without any regard for traffic,” per authorities. The cops said she had “a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath.”

Doc Antle

Doc Antle — Doc Antle, real name Bhagavan Antle, was arrested by the FBI in South Carolina in June. 2022. The Tiger King star is accused of money laundering. He also faces charges relating to illegally trafficking animals, including leopards, cheetahs and a chimpanzee, in violation of the Endangered Species Act

Joseph Gatt

Joseph Gatt — Joseph Gatt was arrested by LAPD on April 6, 2022. According to authorities, he was engaging in “online sexually explicit communication with a minor across state lines.” He was later relased on $5k bail.

The actor addressed his arrest on Twitter on Apr. 13, 2022. Adamantly denying allegations, he said, “I obviously want to address the absolutely horrifying and complete untrue allegations recently leveled against me. They are 100 percent categorically wrong and reckless.

“I have confirmed errors and misleading information in today’s press release. I am fully cooperating with police and LAPD to get to the bottom of this. I look forward to clearing my good name. Thank you to all of my friends and supporters who know that this is untrue and understand for legal reasons I cannot comment further on social media.”

Mike Shouhed

Mike Shouhed — Mike Shouhed of Shahs of Sunset was arrested by LAPD March 27, 2022 on domestic violence charges, per Page Six. Cops say they took in the reality star after they were called to his home around 10pm and found “visible injuries” on an unnamed party. The Bravo personality was later released on $50k bail.

Gary Busey

Gary Busey — Gary Busey, seen here in 2019, was charged with several sex crimes in Aug. 2022 after allegedly groping a woman at the Monster-Mania convention in Cherry Hill, PA. He is facing two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, one count of criminal attempt/criminal sexual contact and one count of harassment.

Blake Jenner

Blake Jenner — Glee alum Blake Jenner was apprehended after an alleged DUI in Jul. 2022. He failed a field sobriety test after he was seen ignoring a stop sign. Not long after his arrest, he was issued a citation and released.

Jason Alexander

Jason Alexander — Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander is facing more time in jail after he was booked for an arrest warrant issued in 2016. Alexander faces two felony charges of grand theft and buying or receiving stolen property, both relating to an incident in 2015. He has spent the last two months in jail in Ventura, California, after trying to enter Britney’s home on the day of her wedding to Sam Asghari.

He was transported direct from Ventura County Jail to Napa, where he was booked for allegedly stealing his landlady’s $2,000 diamond tennis bracelet and pawning it for $180 in 2015.

Iman Shumpert

Iman Shumpert — Former NBA player Iman Shumpert was arrested at Dallas/Fort Worth airport on Saturday, July 30 2022 on charges of felony marijuana possession and a gun in his bag. According to the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport report, officers responded to a potential drug violation call at approximately 3:40pm, after TSA Screeners had found a ‘sizeable amount of green leafy substance’ in Shumpert’s backpack. Shumpert expressed concern about missing his flight to Los Angeles to pick up his daughter, however, the report adds the 2016 NBA champ was placed in handcuffs and transported to the airport jail without incident.

Paul Pelosi

Paul Pelosi — Speaker Of The House Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul Pelosi was arrested on suspicion of DUI in Northern California, late Saturday, May 28, 2022, in Napa County. He could face charges including driving under the influence. Bail was set at $5,000.

Young Thug

Young Thug — Atlanta rapper Young Thug is seen here in his May 9, 2022 mug shot. The Atlanta rapper, whose name is Jeffrey Lamar Williams, was one of 28 people indicted, in Georgia on conspiracy to violate the state’s RICO act and street gang charges, according to jail records. Fellow rapper Gunna was also indicted.

Tiffany Haddish

Tiffany Haddish — A bleary-eyed Tiffany Haddish forces a smile in her Jan. 2022 mugshot, taken in Peachtree City, Georgia. The comic was picked up after she was found asleep behind the wheel. She poked fun at herself later during an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ weeks later. There, she told the funny-guy, “I can say this Jimmy, I’ve been praying to God to send me a new man, a good man. And God went ahead and sent me four in a uniform. I wasn’t expecting it.”

Ezra Miller

Ezra Miller — Actor Ezra Miller has been arrested multiple times in Hawaii in 2022. The star, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, is seen here in a mugshot from Mar. 2022, after they were arrested following an incident at a bar in Hilo, Hawaii. The ‘Flash’ star was booked on charges of disorderly conduct, harassment and obstructing a highway after they allegedly yelled when people started singing karaoke at The Margarita Village Bar. Ezra grabbed the microphone away from a woman and later lunged at a man playing darts. Both actions led to disorderly conduct and harassment offenses. Hawaii Police released Miller after posting a $500.00 bail.

Ezra was picked up again in Apr. 2022, then arrested for second-degree assault at a private residence in Pāhoa, Hawaii. During that incident, “patrol officers responded to a report of an assault that occurred at a get-together in the Leilani Estates subdivision in lower Puna,”, per ‘Variety’.

According to the Hawaii Police Department, Ezra allegedly became “irate” after they were asked to leave, leading them to allegedly throw a chair, who allegedly struck a 26-year-old woman on the forehead, resulting in an approximate half-inch cut. Despite the injury, the woman reportedly refused treatment on the scene.

Eddie Deezen

Eddie Deezen — ‘Grease’ actor Eddie Deezen was arrested for allegedly trespassing at a nursing home in Apr. 2022. The 65-year-old star, known for playing Eugene in the 1978 film, was charged with fourth-degree burglary, two counts of trespassing and one count of disturbing the peace following the incident in Maryland earlier this month. Eddie was at a privately owned nursing facility and refused to leave the premises after being asked to when he made an unwanted entry into the building, according to Maryland State Police.

The actor had previously shown up to the same nursing home earlier in the day at around 2pm and was told by a man to leave and not come back. The man called police when Deezen came back later that night. Police said in a statement: “According to a preliminary investigation, a female opened the door and Deezen pushed his way inside. “She advised Deezen made unwanted entry into the residence and almost made it into one of the residence’s rooms before they were able to get him to exit the residence.” Additionally, “She advised Deezen then went outside but refused to leave the property, which is posted with a no trespassing sign.” There were also “several issues with Deezen leaving items at the residence and various types of notes with the items,” police added. He is was held at an Allegany County, Maryland, detention center, according to online records.

Vic Mensa

Vic Mensa — Vic Mensa, here is 2019, was arrested Jan. 15, 2022 Washington D.C.’s Dulles Airport. According to Customs and Border protection, he was in possession of liquid LSD and psychedelic mushrooms. He was traveling back to the States after a tour in Ghana with Chance The Rapper.

Hope Solo

Hope Solo — Ex-US Women’s goalkeeper Hope Solo was arrested on Mar. 31, 2022 after allegedly driving while intoxicated with her two-year-old twin daughters in the car. The World Cup winner and two-time Olympic gold medalist was taken into custody in a Walmart parking lot in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and arrested for DWI, resisting arrest, and misdemeanor child abuse. Winston-Salem Police Department said in a statement: “Officers with the Winston-Salem Police Department arrested Hope Amelia Stevens (Hope Solo) on Thursday, March 31, 2022 in the parking lot of a business located at 3475 Parkway Village Circle in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

“Ms. Stevens is charged with Impaired Driving (DWI), Resisting Arrest and misdemeanor Child Abuse,’ the statement continued. ‘Ms. Stevens had her two children in the vehicle with her at the time of this offense. Ms. Stevens was processed and subsequently released from the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center.”

Solo’s attorney Rich Nichols has also released a statement on her behalf, saying: “On the advice of counsel, Hope can’t speak about this situation, but she wants everyone to know that her kids are her life, that she was released immediately and is now at home with her family, that the story is more sympathetic than the initial charges suggest, and that she looks forward to her opportunity to defend these charges.” She would check into rehab for alcohol a month later.

Michael Madsen

Michael Madsen — Michael Madsen, seen here in 2020, was arrested on Feb. 24, 2022 for trespassing at his Malibu residence. He was issued a $500 citation and released hours later.

The arrest came amid trying times for Michael, whose son Hudson took his own life in Jan. of 2022. The ‘Kill Bill’ actor shared a statement with HollywoodLife on behalf of his family at the time, saying, “We are all incredibly overwhelmed with grief and sadness and shock as my son, whom I just spoke with a few days ago said he was happy. My last text from him was ‘I love you dad.’ I didn’t see any signs of depression. It’s so tragic and sad I’m just trying to make sense of everything and understand what happened.”

Garrett Hedlund

Garrett Hedlund — Garrett Hedlund was arrested on Jan. 22, 2022 in Winchester, Tennessee on suspicion of being ‘publicly intoxicated’. The ‘Tron: Legacy’ star, who split from partner of three years Emma Roberts in early 2022, was previously arrested for DUI in Jan. 2020. His 2022 arrest would violate the probation terms of his earlier care.

Farrah Abraham

Farrah Abraham — Farrah Abraham, seen here in 2019, was arrested on Jan. 15, 2022 after allegedly slapping a security guard at LA restaurant Grandmaster Recorders. TMZ witnesses say they saw the ‘belligerent’ ‘Teen Mom’ star after someone assaulted the ground she was with. The situation escalated after she was asked to leave. A citizen’s arrest was made and Farrah was taken into custody not long after.

The reality star had a different account of the evening, which she shared to social media. Farrah posted a video of her being restrained on a sidewalk on Instagram and wrote, “I post this as no woman or man should ever be battered, abused, conspired, ganged up on, set up, recorded, and video sold. I’ve had a very traumatizing year and I don’t deserve to be attacked, bruised, men on me, and battered.’ She added the restaurant “should fire their management, and security for all contributing to attacking 1 person out of 3 people” and thanked Hollywood PD.
