Kirsten Dunst (born Kirsten Caroline Dunst in Point Pleasant, New Jersey on April 30, 1982) is an American actress. She grew up in New Jersey, but moved to Los Angeles with her mom and brother after her parents separated when she was 11. She began her acting career at just three years old, starring in television commercials and working as a model. By the time she was six, she starred in her first movie (Woody Allen’s Oedipus Wrecks), and landed her breakthrough role as Claudia in Interview With A Vampire when she was 12. Kirsten subsequently starred in films like Little Women, Jumanji and Bring It On, and also had a recurring role on the third season of ER. In 2002, she starred as Mary Jane Watson in Spider-Man, as well as the sequel in 2004 and third film in 2007. Some of Kirsten’s other notable roles include Crazy/Beautiful, Wimbledon, Elizabethtown, Marie Antoinette, Melancholia and On the Road. She also played Peggy Blomquist on the second season of FX’s hit show, Fargo. Kirsten has also shown off her singing on a few occasions, although she’s said she has no plans to release an album of her own.
