The Bachelorette has come a long way since its first episode in 2003! In the past 18 years, the show has seen 16 seasons, with 17 Bachelorettes in total. Some of the ladies are still with the men they got engaged to on the show, while others have moved on from the Bachelor Nation universe entirely. However, all 17 ladies will always share the bond of understanding what its like to lead the way on the show’s crazy journey.
It’s hard to believe that it’s been 17 years since viewers were first introduced to The Bachelorette on Jan. 8, 2003. The show has evolved quite a bit since then, with its most recent season (16) featuring an unprecedented two Bachelorettes thanks to an early engagement. Here are updates on where all the ladies from the show are now:
Trista Sutter
Trista Sutter was the OG Bachelorette — and one of the show’s few success stories! She got engaged to Ryan Sutter during her season’s finale in 2003, and they tied the knot in a televised ceremony later that year. Trista and Ryan’s relationship has been going strong ever since. They welcomed two kids together and now live a fairly private, normal life in Colorado.
Meredith Phillips
Emily Maynard’s engagement to Jef Holm, her final pick on season eight of The Bachelorette, was short-lived. The two broke up in 2012, just months after the finale of their season aired. Emily married Tyler Johnson in 2014 and has three kids with him. She also has a daughter with her first husband, who passed away before she went on The Bachelor.
Desiree Hartsock
Desiree Hartsock and her final pick, Chris Siegfried, are one of the few Bachelor Nation success stories. They got engaged during the season 9 finale of The Bachelorette, and got married in Jan. 2015. Together, Desiree and Chris have two kids, and are still happily married. She works as a bridal dress designer.
Andi Dorfman
Although Andi Dorfman got engaged to Josh Murray on her season of The Bachelorette, they eventually broke up in Jan. 2015, and things did not end well. Andi wrote all about the toxic relationship in one of her books. Since the show, Andi has become a published author and influencer. She spent several years living in New York City, and moved to California in 2020. In 2021, she launched her fitness app, Andorfins, and has been focused on that as opposed to finding a man!
Kaitlyn Bristowe
On season 11 of The Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe got engaged to Shawn Booth. They began a life together, but after three years, they shocked fans by ending their relationship in the fall of 2018. At the time, Kaitlyn had just started her podcast, and she had fellow Bachelor Nation star, Jason Tartick, from season 14 of The Bachelorette, on the show as a guest. The two quickly sparked up a romance and have been together ever since. In 2020, Kaitlyn competed on the 29th season of Dancing With the Stars and won the Mirror Ball with her partner, Artem Chigvintsev.
JoJo Fletcher
JoJo Fletcher left season 12 of The Bachelorette engaged to her final pick, Jordan Rodgers. The pair decided to take their relationship slow in the real world. It wasn’t until 2019 that they finally set a wedding date for the following summer. Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic meant they had to call off the wedding, which has now been postponed until summer 2021. JoJo and Jordan flip houses together and starred on a CNBC show about home renovation in 2019.
Rachel Lindsay
In 2017, Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo got engaged on the finale of her season of The Bachelorette. They got married in August 2019 and are still happily together. Rachel has remained very involved in Bachelor Nation, and has been vocal about adding diversity to the show in the years since her time as the lead.
Becca Kufrin
In 2018, Becca Kufrin accepted a proposal from Garrett Yrigoyen on season 14 of The Bachelor. They moved in together in 2019, and in the spring of 2020, they happily celebrated their two-year anniversary. Unfortunately, weeks later, Garrett came under fire for controversial social media posts amidst the Black Lives Matter movement. Becca tried to fix the relationship, but the damage had been done, and they broke up.
Hannah Brown
Things didn’t go great for Hannah Brown on The Bachelorette. Although she got engaged to Jed Wyatt on the show, they broke up just a few weeks later. That fall, Hannah competed on Dancing With the Stars and won the Mirror Ball with her partner, Alan Bersten. She has since become an active influencer on social media, and even started her own YouTube channel. At the end of 2020, she hinted that she was dating someone new, but did not reveal her mystery man’s identity.
Clare Crawley
Clare Crawley was the Bachelorette for the show’s 16th season, which was meant to begin filming in March 2020, but had to be delayed amidst the coronavirus pandemic. In July, filming finally got underway, and Clare fell in love instantaneously. From the very first moment that she met Dale Moss, she knew that he was going to be her husband. Less than two weeks into filming, Clare professed her love to Dale, and he proposed. As of Jan. 2021, they are engaged and house hunting together.
Tayshia Adams
When Clare left the show early with Dale, she was replaced by Tayshia Adams. A few more men were brought in to replace some of the guys that Clare had already eliminated, and Tayshia started her season with 20 suitors. In the end, though, it only came down to one — Zac Clark. Zac proposed at the final rose ceremony and he and Tayshia got engaged. Their proposal aired in Dec. 2020, and they’re currently together and living a bi-coastal lifestyle as a couple.
