She has a career that spans decades and after all of this time, she looks as though she’s hardly aged a day. Demi Moore’s star began to rise in the early 1980s when she starred on the popular soap opera General Hospital. The actress played Jackie Templeton and appeared in over 40 episodes over the course of two years — from 1982-1984. Once she left the daytime series, Demi starred in the ensemble cast of St. Elmo’s Fire, alongside major ’80s stars like Judd Nelson, Emilio Estevez, and Ally Sheedy!

During the ’80s, Demi totally proved that she had the star power and talent to stand amongst some of the greats, and a few short years later she proved that. One of Demi’s greatest roles was in the Oscar-winning 1990 romantic drama, Ghost, in which she starred alongside Patrick Swayze. Demi totally stole the hearts of audiences as Molly Jensen.

Two years later, in 1992, Demi further proved her worth alongside Jack Nicholson and Tom Cruise in the film A Few Good Men. Demi played Lt. Cdr. JoAnne Galloway in the film, cementing herself as a serious talent who could handle both comedy and drama. It was also at this time that Demi was part of one of the most high-profile couples in Hollywood.

Demi was married to actor Bruce Willis from 1987-2000. The two share three daughters together — Rumer, 32, Scout, 29, and Tallulah, 26. Demi and Bruce split in 1998 and their divorce was finalized in 2000. Following her marriage to Bruce, Demi was in another highly publicized marriage with Ashton Kutcher from 2005-2013. Ashton is 16 years Demi’s junior, causing a lot of interest in the couple’s marriage.

Following the finalization of their 2013 divorce, Demi chose to open up about her life with her memoir Inside Out, which came out in 2019.
