Demi Moore’s star began to rise in the early 1980s when she starred on the popular soap opera General Hospital. The actress played Jackie Templeton and appeared in over 40 episodes over the course of two years — from 1982-1984. Once she left the daytime series, Demi starred in the ensemble cast of St. Elmo’s Fire, alongside major ’80s stars like Judd Nelson, Emilio Estevez, and Ally Sheedy!
Two years later, in 1992, Demi further proved her worth alongside Jack Nicholson and Tom Cruise in the film A Few Good Men. Demi played Lt. Cdr. JoAnne Galloway in the film, cementing herself as a serious talent who could handle both comedy and drama. It was also at this time that Demi was part of one of the most high-profile couples in Hollywood.
Following the finalization of their 2013 divorce, Demi chose to open up about her life with her memoir Inside Out, which came out in 2019.
