He finished his high school career in suburban Pittsburgh. He was considered a hot property for college recruiters, and Rob entertained offers from Kentucky, Clemson, Louisville and Ohio State before deciding to attend the University of Arizona. In his first professional game, Rob caught his first touchdown, tossed to him by Tom Brady. In a Week 10 victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Rob caught three touchdown passes, becoming the team’s first rookie in history (and the youngest NFL rookie) to accomplish the feat. Rob continued his success until the 2012 season. Rob broke his left forearm in Week 11. He returned after four weeks, but injured the arm again during that year’s playoffs.
