Jim Bob Duggar (born James Robert Duggar on July 18, 1965 in Springdale, Arkansas) is an American real estate agent and television personality, who stars on the TLC show, 19 Kids & Counting, which documents his life as a father of 19 kids with his wife, Michelle Duggar. He is a former state legislator who served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1999-2002.

Jim Bob Duggar, 49, is the father of 19 children with his wife of 30 years, Michelle Duggar, 47, but their family views on birth control have always been pretty strict. In a recent interview, Jim Bob claimed that he and his wife firmly believe it was the short period of time she spent on birth control that caused her body to “abort” one of their unborn children.
