The Twitterverse may have exploded with love over the arrival of Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) on the Oct. 21 episode of Once Upon A Time, but fans might want to save some of their enthusiasm for the parade of new characters coming their way! In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitzis cleared up the rumors about which fairy tale characters they have on tap.

1. Ariel, The Little Mermaid: Though she won’t appear right away, the EPs say they “absolutely” plan to include her in the series. (Paging Teen Wolf‘s Holland Roden!)

2. Tarzan: Though they’ve never considered Tarzan before, the EPs admit they’re open to the idea. (And I think viewers would definitely be open to the idea of Taylor Kitsch as the vine-swinging jungleman.)

3. Mickey Mouse: Don’t count on it. Mickey has already appeared in phone-form on the show, and the EPs don’t see how they could realistically translate him onto the screen.

4. The Wizards of Oz: The EPs can already hear the clicking of Dorothy’s ruby slippers down the yellow-brick road, classifying Oz as a “when,” not an “if.” (Maybe it’s just because opening scene from the Smash pilot has stuck with me me, but I would love to see someone like Katharine McPhee slip into Dorothy’s shoes.)

5. Sherlock Holmes: Unless the BBC’s current Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch is up for the challenge, the EPs say they wouldn’t dream of dropping the iconic detective in Storybrooke.

6. Jack Sparrow: Similarly to Sherlock Holmes, the EPs can’t imagine letting anyone tackle the role other than Johnny Depp.

7. Tron: The EPs seem more amused than interested in having anyone from the Tron world cycle their way into town.

8. Mary Poppins: The legendary (flying) British nanny is being filed under “eventually.” Maybe it’s the Downton Abbey junkie in me, but I’d love to see Michelle Dockery drop in via giant umbrella.

Savages has everything a guy will like – a gorgeous girl (Blake Lively) raunchy sex including a threesome, guns, gore and plenty of weed. Your guy will definitely owe you big time if you surprise him with tickets to Savages this weekend so do it!

Here’s the Savages plot, but if you’re like me, you really won’t get too emotionally involved in the story. This is not Twilight or Hunger Games.

So – Blake Lively plays Ophelia or “O” as her two boyfriends like to call her. And yes she has two boyfriends – Ben (Aaron Johnson) and Chon (Taylor Kitsch) – who are also best friends and they don’t mind sharing her. In fact, they’re both in love with her and she’s equally in love and lust with both of them – no jealousy.

In other words – this is NOT real life. So Ben and Chon are successful businessmen running a marijuana-growing empire and Ben, the Buddhist botanist, has developed some incredibly powerful strain of weed. Life is good and mellow until one of the major and violent Mexican drug cartels moves in and wants to partner with Ben and Chon against their will.

The best part of the film is watching stunning Salma Hayek play the ruthless Elena who heads the cartel but can’t control her own university student daughter. Elena order O’s kidnapping and that sets up an ever increasingly violent series of payback events by Ben and Chon in order to try to force Elena and her sadistic enforcer, Lado (Benicio Del Toro), to give O back.

The film will a) convince you to never EVER even dream about growing a marijuana plant and b) never EVER want to see Benicio Del Toro in real life. How Penelope Cruz can live with him, I don’t know. He always plays psycho killers.

But c) going to Savages will also earn you relationship payback. Your guy will now HAVE to go to see Magic Mike with you! Ha!

Blake Lively opens up about her sizzling sex scenes with Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Johnson in Oliver Stone‘s Savages. Um, could we be more jealous?

“I think some women think one is enough but that’s what was nice about this movie,” Blake tells Jeanne Wolf’s Hollywood. “You would think it would be, it’s normally the guy with the two women.”

Well not in this case, Blake takes charge and gets it on with both of her co-stars. Blake reveals that the sex scenes were shot on the very first day of filming.  “It’s not the sort of office work that I signed up for,” she jokes. “They were very intense and very scary and we shot them on the first day and I mean if you don’t feel comfortable with a person after that its going to be a long road. It was lucky that we got to do that first ultimately because we really bonded.”

Furthermore, Blake talked about the brutal reality of the film, which marks the lives of the Mexican drug cartel members and a girl who is kidnapped.  This is some serious stuff and a far cry from her Gossip Girl role.  She said, “The content is something that’s really scary, you know especially someone who’s so close with their family and has a very young audience. But to do something this violent, this graphic, this racy is something that’s scary but its also it was such an exciting challenge.” She continues, “When you hear these people and hear that it’s their real life story, it gives you such a responsibility to do it well and do it right.”

Finnick Odair won us over in The Hunger Games books, introduced in the second novel Catching Fire as a strong, fierce competitor whose love for Annie makes him all the more endearing. The casting for his character is being closely monitored by Tributes and we have the scoop on the final two actors in line for the part!

“It is currently a two horse race between Garrett Hedlund and Taylor Kitsch,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com. And while yesterday reports suggest Armie Hammer was also in the running, as well as a few unknowns, our insider says Garrett and Taylor are the top two choices. “The filmmakers aren’t scared of Taylor’s recent struggles with his movies, and he currently has the edge in gaining the role. They feel he needs the right role and this could be it.” But they still see the appeal of Kristen Stewart‘s On the Road costar, Garrett. “The filmmakers are eager to see ‘On the Road’ and see how it does, because if it’s a hit and Garrett gets some major buzz from it, then they will give him more of the edge.”

Our insider adds that Lionsgate execs aren’t worried about the next Hunger Games movie being successful, but they still prefer to have the bigger star for such an important role.

Sex? Drugs? Violence? More sex? Yes, Blake Lively‘s new movie Savages seems to have it all — and in this world-premiere trailer, obtained by MTV, we get our first look at all the action. Blake’s character, simply named “O,” plays the two-timing lust interest of drug dealers Chon (Taylor Kitsch) and Ben (Aaron Johnson), but their fairy tale takes a dark turn when O is kidnapped by a Mexican drug cartel, led by Salma Hayek‘s Elena.

With a handsome, hunkily muscled hero, John Carter, played by Taylor Kitsch, a stunning and stunningly intelligent princess, Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins), an adorable, blue-tongued Martian dog, a tribe of tough four-armed toughy ” Tharks,” mysterious evil immortal “Therns” and magical travel to the mysterious planet of Barsoom — what’s not to love?

When hero John Carter, a former Confederate soldier in post Civil War America, is mysteriously transported to a planet that turns out to be Mars, the action is fast and furious.

Luckily for him, he discovers he has special powers (I won’t ruin this for you by revealing them) that enable him to survive multiple dangerous and daring situations.

Barsoom is consumed by civil war between the “Heiliumters” and the “Zondangans” — just what Carter DOESN’T want to get involved with after his hellish civil war experiences at home, but of course he’s lured in and you just know that an epic romance is about to ensue.

There’s humor, special Star Wars-like effects, a mysterious power source and surprising plot twists that make John Carter completely absorbing, even at two and a half hours in length.

I took my 11-year-old son, Sasha, and a friend and they were completely engrossed, bummed when it ended and then filled with questions afterward.

Of course, the film is based on science fiction books by Edgar Rice Burroughs, and Sasha and I are ready to check them out of the library because we NEED answers and we want sequels!

So if you want to escape and be totally entertained by a far better sci-fi action film than Captain America or  Thor — definitely get your 3D glasses on and get to John Carter!
