Rapper XXXTentation getting knocked out on stage in San Diego on June 7 has become one of the biggest stories of the day, but many people have no idea who he is, or why he was attacked. Don’t worry, we’re laying out the whole beef for you, right here!
ABC used a rapping kid to push this week’s annual airing of the classic TV movie featuring the Peanuts gang. Is nothing sacred?
Who are the advertising wizards behind this one? ABC clearly didn’t trust the timeless classic TV special that is It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown to reach a new audience, so it featured Charlie Brown rapping in the commercial! It starts with our hero shouting out to his “party people,” and referring to himself as “Charlie B.” before mentioning trick-or-treating and how the kids’ party will start “thumpin'”! “Thumpin'”? Really? Oh, ABC, why? Is this the worst idea ever? Watch the ad and vote!
Heidi & Weezy both did these procedures done in ONE day!
OMG! Whoever said celebrities don’t have to suffer is clearly unaware of Heidi Montag & Lil Wayne‘s recent medical histories! We’ve already discussed the 10 plastic surgery procedures Heidi had done to her in one day, which caused her so much pain that she tweeted about not being able to sleep — but now TMZ is reporting that rapper Lil Wayne had a pretty rough experience of his own: 8 root canals in one day! The agonizing procedure took him eight hours… we can’t even imagine what that must have been like. Which celeb do YOU think suffered more in the name of medicine (or in Heidi’s case, in the name of superficial insanity?) Read more & vote!
She and Natalie Portman should have a rap battle!
We don’t know what’s better about this video: Michelle Trachtenberg rapping along to Nicki Minaj, or the fact that the video was posted by Dawson Leery himself, James Van Der Beek. “A Valentine’s Day present for you all,” James tweeted Feb. 14, along with the hilarious video. “Trachtenberg in rare form on the ride home from set. Enjoy!” Oh, what we wouldn’t give to be hanging out in the backseat with Michelle and James. Click here to watch Michelle & Natalie rap, and vote for your favorite!
He’s one of the few rappers she hasn’t worked with… yet!
Though Ashanti, 29, claimed she had no Grammy predictions when we saw her at OK! magazine’s 3rd Annual Midnight Grammy Brunch on Jan. 30, she did mention one artist she loves: actor-turned-rapper Drake! “I think Drake has been doing an amazing job,” she told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “I’m a big fan.” She said it would be “kind of cool” to collaborate with the former Degrassi star. We smell a hit! Read more
Something tells us Elin Nordegren won’t be making this her new ringtone.
Tiger Woods‘ mistresses aren’t the only ones cashing in on his ongoing scandal! Rapper Maino just released a new song, “Get ‘Em Tiger,” in which he spits rhymes from Tiger’s P.O.V. about the many ladies in his life: “I got women in the burbs, women in the hood / Yeah my wifey mad cause she know I’m no good / Man I’m just a dog, I’d be faithful if I could / But I’m Tiger Woods, yeah I’m Tiger Woods.” Read more & vote!
We weren’t sure what would happen when the domestic goddess invited Snoop into her kitchen … but we certainly didn’t expect Martha to let loose her inner rapper!
Who knew Martha Stewart could hold a beat? Apparently all she needed was a little help from the rap master himself, Snoop D-O-to-the-Double G, who stopped by her daytime talk show this week in a segment that airs on Friday, Dec. 18. (Click here for a sneak peek!)
“Can’t you rap while we’re doing this?” Martha asks Snoop Dogg, who was there to promote his album, Malice N Wonderland (which hit stores Dec. 8), as the two begin baking brownies.
Snoop held his own. “Trying to make some brownies but we missing the most important part of the brownies,” he sings as Martha chimes in, “which is, which is.”
Looks like Justin may have either lost some fans … or gained some new ones!
Our little boy is growing up so fast! For a quick moment during his intimate set in Detroit on Saturday Justin Bieber dropped his usual bubbly boy band act to try his hand at a completely different genre — rap. Holding the mic closely to his mouth, Justin treated guests at Channel 955‘s concert to a cover of Eminem‘s hit single Lose Yourself.
“I can’t hear you!” he told the screaming crowd, before checking into hard core rap mode and spewing out lines like, “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy/There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti/”
