No one was happier than Jon Voight, 73, about Angelina Jolie‘s engagement to longtime love Brad Pitt, but the proud grandpa doesn’t think his daughter should have any more children! “I love kids,” he told Radar Online, when asked if the parents-of six are planning on expanding their brood. “[But] I don’t think so… six is quite a group you know!”

Already, it’s a wonder that Brad, 48, and Angie, 36, manage to juggle their busy careers and parenting responsibilities. The happy couple of seven years, who always make time for family, are doting parents to Maddox, 10, Zahara, 7, Pax, 8, Shiloh, 5, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 3.

Jon, who’s had a rocky relationship with his former wild-child daughter over the years, spends as much time with his grandchildren as he can. Like us, he can’t get over how big they’re getting!

“You don’t see them for a little while and then they have different growth spurts and develop different enthusiasms and you hear them talking,” he gushed.

When asked about his famous grandchildren, Jon Voight, actor and father to the stunning Angelina Jolie, said we should watch out! “Hollywood should be afraid of them,” he warned E!Online. It’s no surprise to us that the grandpa would gush about his cute grandchildren — Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 6, Vivenne and Knox, 3.

We’re so relieved the father and daughter acting duo made up after not speaking for six years. He didn’t divulge any details about the kids, but he made absolutely certain that Brad Pitt and Angie received full credit for their parenting skills. “I try to give them support as Brad and Angie do,” he said. “They really let these kids be who they are.” — Now isn’t that sweet!

Grandpa Voight was asked if any of the kids will be following in their family’s acting footsteps, he said, “I do actually.” He wouldn’t reveal which future star in particular would join the family business, but he did say he has no doubt at least one of the kids would act — we can’t wait!

The star took Shiloh, 5, Zahara, 6 and Pax, 7, to a park near their London summer home on Saturday, August 27, and treated them to ice cream while they all watched a cricket match!

The tender picture is particularly poignant because Jon Voight was BANNED from seeing his grandkids for years after a bitter feud with his superstar daughter Angelina Jolie!

“They seemed really close and happy,” An onlooker tells People.com. “It was all just lots of kiddie stuff and the children really seemed to be enjoying themselves.”

It may seem like a normal family outing — but Jon could never imagine spending a day with his grandkids just a few years ago.

Angelina cut off all contact with her father in 2002 after he claimed in an interview she needed psychological help for what he called “serious mental problems!”

The feud dragged on for almost a decade, until the dad and daughter duo patched things up in 2010 during a vacation in Venice.

And it seems like grandpa really IS back in the family fold! The 72-year-old is even stepping up and babysitting the Brangelina brood when mom has her hands full.

A source tells People.com, “Angelina is now doing bits of work herself, and Brad is obviously busy with his filming, [and] there are obviously times when the childcare clashes. So it’s a case of Grandpa to the rescue!”

Angelina Jolie’s father thinks the 4-year-old’s tomboy fashion sense is fabulous.

Although his daughter Angelina Jolie was recently accused of forcing his granddaughter Shiloh to dress like a boy, grandpa Jon Voight insists the 4-year-old is making her own style choices. “Shiloh chooses everything she wears, so she’s an amazing person. The press, they’re going to make a lot of stuff about it, but she’s incredible,” the actor says.

The weapon-toting tomboy has been praised by her mother for having “Montenegro style,” and Jon, 71, also can’t praise her fashion choices enough. “Shiloh’s an amazing person,” he says. “I look at the way she dresses and she has a style! And she’s only 4 years old! I’m going, ‘What?!’”

According to Gramps, Shiloh has not just beauty but brains as well! “Shiloh, boy, she’s a smart one,” he recently said. “You can never tell what she knows to look at her face all the time.”

What goes down in the first episode: The bad guy you hate to love. Lone Star is about a young boy (James Wolk) groomed to be the perfect conman by his father. In his adult life he struggles with pleasing his manipulative father and trying to lead a normal life. As his father so eloquently says, “you built a house of cards, you can’t live in it.” Despite having two wives, he remains the Lone Star because at any minute he might be forced to disappear to avoid being arrested for financial fraud.

Why you should watch: Lone Star is thrilling, sexy, and keeps the audience on their toes for the whole episode. Despite his seemingly despicable persona, he is very earnest and its easy to buy into that he truly loves both women. The cast has amazing chemistry and the soundtrack is current and fun. This show redefines love and complicated relationships, not only between husband and wife but also between father and son.

If we could change one thing…: The subject matter is a little racy and controversial, so it may be distasteful to a more conservative audience.

Final thoughts: The idea is fresh and interesting because despite the main character’s amoral actions of leading two different lives and scamming people out of money, you can’t help but fall in love with him! Be sure to watch the first episode of Lone Star when it premieres on Fox Sept. 20!

Now that he has repaired his relationship with his daughter, Angelina Jolie, the actor gets to see his grandchildren all the time, whether face-to-face or via Skype!

It took a long time for Angelina Jolie to forgive her dad, Jon Voight, for their past problems, but now that they’re back on speaking terms, he can’t get enough of her children! The doting grandpa to Angelina and Brad Pitt‘s six kids raved to OK! magazine, “All the kids are smart. They’re beautiful children.” But he had something special to say about Angie’s oldest son, Maddox, 9, and daughter Shiloh, 4.

“Shiloh, boy she’s a smart one,” Jon, 71, laughed, adding, “She’s 4 years old but you can never tell what she knows to look at her face all the time.”

He went on to say that he keeps in close touch with them, often online using Skype, “I’ve been away from my computer so I couldn’t get back to Maddox,” said Jon, who was in L.A. promoting his new Fox show, Lone Star. “I’m probably going to see him while I’m here. If I can see them in the flesh, that’s better than [Skype].”

And while he doesn’t read gossip mags, like the rest of us, he can’t resist looking at pictures of the adorable Jolie-Pitt brood. “I like seeing them no matter where they are,” Jon admits. “I don’t read the stuff; I just look at their picture and swoon. I love them.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were greeted by thousands of screaming fans, July 19, at the LA premiere for Angie’s new thriller-action film Salt. HollywoodLife.com watched as Brad and Angelina arrived arm in arm at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in downtown LA and immediately walked across the street to sign autographs for the most ecstatic crowd you’ve ever seen. The fans were screaming, crying and flailing their posters, and magazine covers that Brad and Angie happily signed before walking the red carpet together.

Angelina, 35, looked unbelievable in a black sequined Armani mini, and Brad, 46, was his usual hot self, AND sporting his freshly shaved face! Brad didn’t stop for interviews and he quickly walked the carpet and slipped into the theater. Angelina’s dad, Jon Voight, 71, arrived with Angie’s brother, James Haven, and they too disappeared into the Chinese Theater without speaking to reporters.

We did get a chance to speak to Angelina’s Salt co-star Liev Schreiber, who told reporters he and Angelina bonded on set through their kids.

“For me it was mostly about being a dad and her being a mom,” he admitted. “That’s how we really bonded. That was the fun part because I think we’re both at that place with our kids where they’re really amazing. Being around three-year-olds, language starts to come out of them and it’s a very exciting period in someone’s life. Both having children and being parents, it was fun to kind of bond over that while we were shooting.”

After the premiere the cast attended the afterparty at Hollywood & Highland’s Grand Ballroom — Brad and Angie left around 11pm.
