Fans weren’t only focused on who would win American Idol during the show, they were debating who wore the better skin-tight catsuit! Twitter caught fire when season three winner Fantasia Barrino showed up in a super tight leg baring get up and then Chaka Khan wore a curve hugging brown bodysuit — MEOW!

Fantasia was there to sing with Joshua Ledet and fans say that she was even making up lyrics to Elton John‘s “Take Me To The Pilot.”

But it appears dressing like cat woman is trendy these days because when Chaka showed up to sing the hit “I’m Every Woman,” she was in the tightest sequined getup ever on American Idol!

Then she caused another stir on the red carpet when she said she’d love to take J.Lo’s spot if she doesn’t return to American Idol: “They could use a little bit of truth, honesty. I’d like that.”

Congrats, Fantasia! The ‘American Idol’ winner gave birth Dec. 13 in North Carolina!

American Idol season 3 winner Fantasia Barrino has a new little man in her life — her son, Dallas Xavier Barrino, according to People! “I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family,” she said. “I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support.”

The healthy boy was born at 7 lbs., 9 oz. and 21 inches long, and he joins his big sis, 10-year-old Zion.

In October the 27-year-old singer announced she was pregnant with a boy, and she was placed on bed rest. No official word on who the baby’s dad is, but she has been linked to Antwaun Cook — a married man! — since the summer of 2010.

According to reports, the former ‘American Idol’ star, who just confirmed her pregnancy, is expecting her first child with Antwaun Cook.

Although Antwaun Cook is officially Fantasia Barrino‘s boyfriend, he is also still legally married to his wife, Paula Cook. But although Fantasia has yet to confirm, RadarOnline.com reveals that Antwaun is the father of her unborn child — and Paula is absolutely crushed.

“Antwaun told Paula that Fantasia was pregnant early on,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “He wanted her to hear it from him before word got out in the press. Paula was really hurt when he left her for Fantasia, so it’s like the knife that was already in her back is being twisted now.”

Fantasia made headlines when she first stepped out with Antwaun and got his last name tattooed on her shoulder. But we’re sure a baby is not exactly making Paula’s situation any easier.

Antwaun and Paula are set to meet in a North Carolina courthouse on Wednesday, August 10 in an attempt to sort out their correct date of separation. Although Antwaun maintains the two were already separated when he started dating Fantasia, Paula insists he cheated on her.

In November 2010, Fantasia admitted to being pregnant with Antwaun’s baby, but also revealed that she had an abortion.

After months of speculation, Fantasia Barrino, 27, has officially confirmed her pregnancy — and she’s beyond thrilled!

“For a while I walked around figuring out what will they say and what will they think about me. But now I tell you I don’t live my life for folk. This child that I am carrying… God has given me this child,” she told fans at a charity performance in Florida. “And I don’t have to hide it from none of y’all.”

The ‘American Idol’ and mom to Zion celebrates 27 today! Is she pregnant again??

Since winning the second season of American Idol in 2004, Fantasia has not only released three albums, she’s also written a book, filmed a movie, and starred in The Color Purple on Broadway. Not too shabby! Now rumors are swirling that she has another bun in the oven!

On August 8, 2001 Fantasia gave birth to her daughter, Zion Quari Barrino. But recently, various outlets have reported that Fantasia is expecting another child with her boyfriend, Antwaun Cook. No word from Fantasia about the rumors yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted!

Critics are questioning the timing of Fantasia Barrino’s suicide attempt and wondering if she was only trying to stir up interest in her new album. However, three experts tell HollywoodLife.com it’s sick to think she planned to commit suicide for promotional purposes!

Despite winning American Idol and appearing on Broadway, Fantasia Barrino has not been in a good place lately. Because she so desperately needs to get to revive her flailing music career, some naysayers are calling her recent suicide attempt a pathetic attempt to create some drama around the release of her new album, Back to Me, which dropped today. But did Fantasia attempt to take her own life because of her career? Why was she giving interviews just two weeks after the August 9 incident?

HollywoodLife.com spoke with three experts — a psychiatrist, a psychotherapist and a celebrity image expert — who all agree: Fantasia’s suicide attempt wasn’t for publicity, and now that she’s on a press tour, she’s better equipped to control her story than have the media run amok with idle speculation.

“You don’t make a suicide attempt for publicity. It’s a very sad event. It’s not something that makes people want to buy albums,” psychotherapist Dr. Jenn Berman tells us, adding, “Fantasia’s press tour is scheduled. I’m sure she felt a sense of obligation to fulfill her commitment.”

Los Angeles-based psychiatrist and author of the upcoming book, Bad Girls: Why Men Love Them & How Good Girls Can Learn Their Secrets, Dr. Carole Lieberman, believes Fantasia tried to take her own life in order to win her married ex-lover of more than a year, T-Mobile salesman Antwaun Cook, back into her arms.

“Fantasia wanted to get his attention and show him how much she needs him to try to prevent him from going back to his wife,” Dr. Lieberman says. “Not a good move…although this might have gotten a sympathetic reaction from him at first, it’s likely to backfire.”

Celebrity image expert Michael Sands says that Fantasia needs to hide out for a few months and NOT immediately jump back into her promotional duties – she needs to lay low to avoid suspicion.  “I think she can build back her image by staying under the radar for six months and dealing with what she’s been through personally,” Sands advises.

Dr. Lieberman believes the R&B singer is doing the right thing by conducting interviews with the press, as long as she is receiving intense therapy at the same time.

“Fantasia is trying to do damage control by acknowledging it was a real suicide attempt instead of having the media report this,” she says.

Dr. Jenn agrees. “Sometimes it’s better to control the press than to refuse to talk about it. This way she can control the story and tell HER truth,” she says, concluding, “Sometimes interviews can add salt to the wound, but other times talking about it and trying to be a role model for other people can be helpful. The distraction of going on a tour and having fans adore you can sometimes be a little healing.”
