A collaboration between Eminem and Chris Rock? Stranger things have happened! After posting a picture on his WhoSay account of himself and Eminem in a recording studio, funny man Chris said in a new interview on May 14 that “maybe” he will appear on the new album. Chris Rock Talks About Appearing On Eminem’s New Album

Chris posted this picture on Twitter on May 7, writing “In the studio with Em don’t sleep,” and fans went crazy speculating that he would appear on the album!

Chris remained coy when he appeared on Fuse TV’s United States of Hip Hop one week later, as when asked if he was going to be on the record he said:

Uh, I can’t really say. Hey, hey, I was on the Kanye [West] record – maybe I’m on the Eminem record. You never know.

That is the worst denial ever! I guess we can all expect to hear Chris’s powerful lyrics on the new album when it is released later this year!

Eminem’s New Album

Dr. Dre confirmed that Eminem — also known as Slim Shady — is close to completing what will be his eighth solo album, and Big Sean is another rapper who will also appear on the record.

Chris Rock and Chace Crawford both play leading roles in the upcoming comedy What to Expect When You’re Expecting. And even though in the flick they play men dealing with hormone-infused pregnant women, they definitely know how to show love on and off screen to their moms.

When HollywoodLife.com asked Chris Rock what his plans are for Mother’s Day, he said that his kids were doing most of the planning!

“Mother’s Day, it’s like is the day for the Mothers, but also a day for the kids…The kids will get breakfast ready,” he told HollywoodLife.com at the NYC premiere of What to Expect When You’re Expecting sponsored by Purity Vodka.

So cute!

And Chace said he’ll be flying his parents out for the L.A. premiere of the film!

“I’m flying my mom, her and my father are coming out for the premiere next Monday,” he told us.

Alicia Keys is the mom-to-be who just won’t stop! Alicia and new hubby Swizz Beatz were pictured hand in hand at the Rock the Bells concert in New York on Aug. 28, where Alicia took to the stage with Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Beyoncé, Chris Rock and Estelle to support their pal Lauryn Hill‘s return to performing. The “Fallin’” singer showed off her baby bump in a cream jumper while she danced and sang.

Alicia, 29, and Swizz, 31, made it a double-date night, and were pictured alongside other power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé. Will Alicia’s baby joy rub off on Beyoncé?

Whether it was from the sunshine in St. Tropez or her pregnancy, Alicia had quite a post-honeymoon glow about her. She’s just a few months away from giving birth to her first child, and Alicia is counting down the days. “I can’t wait to become a mum. No question. It’s the most beautiful gift in the world. Truly a gift from God,” she said back in June. “I have an amazing mother – she is a best friend to me. And I would like to be the same to my child.”

Here we are again. Another weekend at the summer box office and another victory for a children’s film as Toy Story 3 remained atop the leader board, bringing in a very healthy $58.9 million according to our sister site Deadline Hollywood. Coming in second with $41 million was the Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock flick Grown Ups, a film where someone pees in a pool and the water turns blue we all learned from the ads shown everywhere for the past few weeks. And they say they don’t make intelligent films anymore!

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz‘s Knight and Day ended up not being the box office bomb many thought it might be with a low, but over expectations, $20.5 million. Now that it’s released however we will miss Tom’s senseless viral videos, one-on-one time with the dudes from Twilight, and lighting up the stage with Puerto Rican dancers.

Rounding out the top 5 were 80s remakes The Karate Kid with $15.4 million and A-Team with $6.1 million.

It will be interesting to see how these films fare next weekend at the box office. Are there any new releases?
