Mark Cuban (born July 31, 1958 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American businessman and investor. He is widely known as the owner of the NBA team, the Dallas Mavericks, Landmark Theatres and Magnolia Pictures. He also is a “shark” investor on the popular TV series, Shark Tank. He commonly invests in small startup businesses that are eventually bought by larger companies. He is most recently a judge for Miss America 2017.

Mark is very politically active and philanthropic. He founded the Fallen Patriot Fund in 2003 to help families of of injured or killed military personnel. In June 2015, Mark also donated $5 million to Indiana University at Bloomington, his alma mater, for the “Mark Cuban Center for Spots Media and Technology.” He is active in the Stop Trump movement and teased running for president in the 2016 election year. Mark married his wife, Tiffany Stewart, in Barbados in September 2002. They have three children, daughters Alexis Sofia, born in 2005, and Alyssa, born 2006 and a son, Jake, born in 2010.
