Ice Cube (born O’Shea Jackson on June 15, 1969, in Compton, California) is an American rapper, producer, actor and filmmaker. He started his career as a member of the hip hop group C.I.A., before moving onto the group, N.W.A. In film and television, he has produced on the series Barbershop and Are We There Yet?, shows which are based on films of the same names in which he starred.
