Ellen Page (born Ellen Philpotts-Page in Halifax, Canada on February 21, 1987) is a Canadian actress. She started her career in Canada at the age of 10 by starring on the TV show Pit Pony. This led to other roles on shows such as Trailer Park Boys and ReGenesis. From there, Ellen moved on to star in films, one of which was X-Men: The Last Stand as Kitty Pryde. The actress was relatively unknown until she was casted in the movie Juno. Ellen was nominated for a number of awards following that film. After that role put her on the map, Ellen proceeded to star in films alongside A-list celebs such as Leonardo DiCaprio in Inception and Drew Barrymore‘s Whip It.
