He did it! Exaggerator proved to be the people’s champion by winning the Preakness Stakes with ease on May 21 at the Pimlico in Baltimore, Maryland. And needless to say, Exaggerator’s fans went absolutely wild about it on social media! And rightly so because he beat rival Nyquist to be first past the post!
Simply remarkable! Exaggerator showed the rest of the pack how it was done by coming first past the post at the Preakness Stakes on May 21 with an epic run beating his nearest challenger, Nyquist. It really was an a-mazing performance, and now his fans can’t stop giving him praise on Twitter!
The winner Exaggerator shared the pot of the $1.5 million purse, scooping just over $900k for coming first, and boy did they run the race of his life. The conditions were absolutely horrific for horses, wet and the ground was soggy, which made it very difficult to deal with for the thoroughbreds. But this three-year-old beauty showed why he’s just as impressive a horse as Nyquist is.
Earlier in the day we saw how difficult it was when we heard in horror how two horses had passed away on the course, Homeboykris collapsed after winning an earlier race, while Pramedya had to euthanized after breaking his left leg when he stumbled. Simply awful. But the day belonged to Exaggerator:
Exaggerator looks like a horse fit for a God 😍 #Curlingenes

I actually really liked Exaggerator so I'm not too upset that Nyquist didn't win, but 2 Triple Crowns in a row woulda been cool #Preakness
