Ray Rice should be ‘thrown out of the NFL’ and ‘thrown into jail.’ Those are just some of the tweets that celebs like Seth Rogen and athletes like Terrance Knighton are posting after seeing the disturbing video of the football player attacking his wife. See what else they’re saying.
The backlash has begun. Celebrities like Seth Rogen, Jamie Lee Curtis and more, as well as fellow athletes like Terrance Knighton and Deion Sanders, are all ripping the NFL and Ray Rice over footage of the Baltimore Ravens running back attacking his wife in an elevator and his initial punishment.
Ray Rice Hits Wife In Video — Celebs & Athletes React To Shocking Footage
Ray, 27, was charged, and initially suspended for two games, following the domestic violence incident with his 26-year-old wife, Janay Palmer, on Feb. 15. However, once a video of the incident surfaced on Sept. 8, Ray was terminated from the NFL. Maybe we should thank a few of the tweeters below, who pushed for the player’s termination.
That man should be thrown out the the nfl and thrown into jail. Shame on those deciding his punishment. Smh

I don’t know much about football, but I know that Ray Rice is a piece of garbage who shouldn’t be allowed to play it professionally anymore.

Roger Goodell shame on you and the NFL. Two games? Really? Two games? Assault is assault. Take an action. Find your mind.

Watched Ray Rice Video. As a man I am disgusted. As former NFL player I am ashamed by handling of this by the league. Despicable.

To all the ravens fans who said I had no clue what happened in the elevator. Apology accepted.

I wonder how many games the suspension would have been if that was Roger Goodell’s daughter lying there?

Ray Rice Hits Wife
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Ray and Janay got into a physical altercation at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City on Feb. 15. In the newly released video, Ray is seen hitting Janay, she hits back, and then he punches her again, which causes her to hit her head on a railing before falling to the floor. Ray then drags her unconscious body out of the elevator.
“I made the biggest mistake of my life, I want to own it,” Ray said at a news conference in July, according to ESPN.
Ray and Janay were married in March — one month after the assault — and they have one daughter together, Rayven Rice.
