Steve-O

Bio:
Steve-O (born Stephen Gilchrist Glover on June 13, 1974 in London, England) is an American actor, stunt performer and comedian. Steve-O’s father was an American-born business executive whose job made Steve-O and his family move frequently while he was young. After attending a litany of high schools, Steve enrolled in the University of Miami but dropped out due to poor grades. Steve-O successfully graduated from the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College in 1997, but was not selected to join the circus. While performing at the Fort Lauderdale Swap Shop flea market, Steve sent videos of himself to Big Brother Magazine, attracting the attention of Jackass director Jeff Tremaine. Steve-O was recruited to join Johnny Knoxville and the rest of the crew for the MTV television show, Jackass, in 2000. Steve appeared in all seasons on the show and every Jackass movie. After Jackass ended, Steve-O co-starred with Chris Pontius on MTV’s Wildboyz, until its end in 2006. In 2008, Steve-O friends staged an intervention due to his drug and psychiatric problems. After an initial stumble, Steve-O has remained sober since. Steve-O participated in Season 8 of Dancing With The Stars, hosted TruTV’s Killer Karaoke, and in launched his own YouTube channel, Steve-O TV.

Best Known For:
Steve-O is best known as a part of the Jackass team, having competed in a variety of dangerous, but hilarious, stunts.

Personal Life:
Steve-O is a committed vegan and refuses to do any stunt that messes with animals. In 2015, Steve-O was arrested for climbing a construction cane in L.A. as part of a protest against Sea World.
