Shanina Shaik (born on February 11, 1991 in Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian model. She began her career at just 8 years old, but took a break once she was accepted into an accelerated high school program. Shanina began modeling again when she was 15, and was named runner-up on the Australian reality show Make Me A Supermodel. She went on to make her runway debut in the 2008/2009 season during New York Fashion Week, and eventually was added to the Victoria’s Secret roster, making her first appearance in the brand’s fashion show in 2011. She moved to New York City when she was just 17 years old.
