Plus, Emma finally chooses between Neal & Hook — but not really.
After six long weeks of non-stop Neverland, the viewers finally got to see what was going on in Storybrooke on the Nov. 10 episode of Once Upon A Time. And while it was nice to catch up with old friends — oh, Grumpy, you’re still no fun to be around — I wish it had been under better circumstances. You know, like not with Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and Ariel (JoAnna Garcia) being tied up and held at gunpoint.
Once Upon A Time
Plus, Emma finally chooses between Neal & Hook — but not really.
This week’s episode taught us more about Hook’s rough past with Peter Pan — and his hot future with Emma!
Desperate to save Henry (Jared Gilmore), and seriously running out of time, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and the gang took a page out of Regina George’s handbook by turning the Lost Boys against their leader on the Oct. 27 episode of Once Upon A Time. But when they discovered the Boys couldn’t be easily swayed, they took a page out of Regina Mills’ (Lana Parrilla) handbook, instead — ripping out their hearts!
Alluding to Mulan’s sexuality — albeit indirectly — was a huge move for ‘Once,’ and a major payoff for its LGBT fans. Well done, ABC.
Once Upon A Time is famous for putting its own spin on classic characters, but its biggest twist came on the Oct. 13 episode when Mulan (Jamie Chung) was essentially revealed to be bisexual — or, at least, it revealed her to be in love with Aurora (Sara Bolger). No official Ellen DeGeneres-style declaration was made, but after a particularly emotional scene between Mulan and Sleeping Beauty, there’s no denying the warrior’s feelings anymore. I applaud the show’s creators, ABC and Disney for the brave move.
It’s a real-life fairytale for Ginnifer and Josh! The ‘Once Upon a Time’ co-stars announced their engagement on Oct. 11. We’re so happy for them!
Actors Ginnifer Goodwin, 35, and Josh Dallas, 31, are engaged! When did he propose to his on-and-offscreen leading lady?
Plus, we get our first look at Peter Pan — and he’s kind of terrifying.
Owen and Tamara’s plan to destroy Storybrooke was finally exposed on the May 5 episode of Once Upon A Time, but that revelation came with a potentially deadly price for one of the town’s most beloved residents.
A ‘new hero’ is coming to ‘Once Upon A Time!’ Watch a preview video from the show’s April 21 episode.
Once Upon A Time is on another mini hiatus until April 21 — I know it sucks, but don’t shoot the messenger — and when it returns, we’ll get to meet a “new hero!” The promo for the final four episodes of the season revealed Tom Ellis as none other than Robin Hood.
The battle for Rumpelstiltskin’s dagger claimed its biggest victim yet this week!
Storybrooke became a full-on battlefield this week, as good and evil finally clashed on the March 10 episode of Once Upon A Time. And in the end, one major character’s life was lost, dramatically tipping the scales in the ongoing war for power.
But being Rumples’ son isn’t the only connection Baelfire has to Storybrooke!
Traveling to the Big Apple to find Mr. Gold’s (Robert Carlyle) son seemed like a longshot, but Emma (Jennifer Morrison) finally managed to track him down on the Feb. 17 episode of Once Upon A Time — only to discover she’d already met him!
Plus, Emma uses magic again! I like where this is going.
I figured that Cora (Barbara Hershey) and Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) arriving in Storybrooke would stir up trouble, but a death on their first day in town? They work fast, and I am impressed. The victim in question was Archie (Raphael Sbarge), who was found “dead” on the Jan. 6 episode of Once Upon A Time after an encounter with Regina (Lana Parrilla) — which actually sounds like a pretty standard encounter with Regina.
The former ‘Charmed’ star will work her magic once again in 2013.
The witch is back! Rose McGowan is set to play young Cora (Barbara Hershey) on an upcoming episode of Once Upon A Time — the show that literally doesn’t know the meaning of ‘too many flashbacks’ — according to HollywoodLife.com’s sister site Deadline. Rose’s episode, airing in 2013, will explain how Cora became the Mother of All Evil she is today.
Let’s discuss the Queen of Hearts’ identity, Emma’s personal discovery & all of the other mind-blowing revelations from the winter finale!
Well, that was exhausting. The Dec. 2 episode of Once Upon A Time finally delivered the reunion fans have been waiting for, as Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) returned to Storybrooke — but they didn’t make the journey alone, and life in the real world is about to get real.
Major on-screen chemistry between Charming & Ruby has many fans wondering: Will they live extramaritally ever after?
Once Upon A Time viewers were given a rare look at Charming (Josh Dallas) and Ruby’s (Meghan Ory) friendship on the show’s Nov. 11 episode, as he saved her from an angry mob of wolf hunters, but I have to ask: Could there be something more than friendship between them? This was the first time we’ve really seen Josh and Meghan work together, and while I’m not sure if their chemistry was scripted, it was absolutely undeniable.
In a new interview, the show’s executive producers confirm which fairy tale characters will (or won’t) be arriving in town — and we’re playing casting director!
The Twitterverse may have exploded with love over the arrival of Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) on the Oct. 21 episode of Once Upon A Time, but fans might want to save some of their enthusiasm for the parade of new characters coming their way! In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitzis cleared up the rumors about which fairy tale characters they have on tap.
Snow White herself, Ginnifer Goodwin, gives HollywoodLife.com the scoop on what’s in store for the mother-daughter duo. Watch our exclusive interview!
Now that the curse has been lifted on Once Upon A Time, major changes are on the way — including Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) remembering that Emma (Jennifer Morrison) is her daughter! “One of the things I’m looking most forward to is exploring that relationship,” Ginnifer told HollywoodLife.com about the show’s upcoming second season June 14 at the Young Hollywood Awards. “There’s never been one like it. We’re the same age!”
Plus, Emma goes on a journey of faith — Does she finally believe in fairy tales?
On the April 29 episode of Once Upon a Time, Henry (Jared Gilmore) noticed someone added an unfinished story about Pinocchio to his book of fairytales, and that someone was August W. Boothe (Eion Bailey), aka “The Stranger.” This took us back to pilot to learn about the origin of the wardrobe used to transport “The Savior” Emma (Jennifer Morrison) to the real world. Because Pinocchio would be turned back into a wooden boy once the curse took hold, Geppetto only agreed to build the vessel if Pinocchio could fill the second spot. So on the day of the Evil Queen’s curse, he was transported to the real world with one very important mission: to make “The Savior” believe.
Spoiler alert: Stop reading if you haven’t watched this week’s ‘Once Upon A Time!’
Kathryn’s (Anastasia Griffith) return to Storybrooke may have proven Mary Margaret’s (Ginnifer Goodwin) innocence, but as we saw on the April 22 episode of Once Upon A Time, it also raised the stakes for everyone in town. Not only are things looking even more bleak for David (Josh Dallas) and Mary Margaret, but Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) are back at each other’s throats: Who exactly is working for who now?
Plus, a look back in time reveals Regina isn’t really so mean; she’s just got mommy issues!
It took 18 episodes, but we finally found out why Regina (Lana Parrilla) hates Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) on this week’s Once Upon A Time — and the answer was a lot simpler than I imagined.
A devilishly handsome stranger — emphasis on the ‘devil’ part — finally opened Emma’s eyes to the secrets behind Storybrooke!
Gossip Girl taught me not to trust Sebastian Stan, and the March 25 episode of Once Upon A Time reminded me why: He may be able to charm the buttons off my remote control, but he’s also one of the shadiest gents around. As Jefferson — Storybrooke’s equivalent to the Mad Hatter — he kidnapped Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) in an attempt to get his daughter back. Oh, did I mention he’s also one of the only characters who know exactly who he is?
Plus, David has flashbacks from his life as Prince Charming! Something big is happening.
Everyone in Storybrooke attempted to prove Mary Margaret’s (Ginnifer Goodwin) innocence on the March 18 episode of Once Upon A Time — and I literally mean everyone. Henry (Jared Gilmore) found evidence she’d been framed, Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) offered his apparent legal services, and David (Josh Dallas) tried to prove he’s the one who killed Kathryn!
Mary Margaret’s happily-ever-after is coming sooner than we thought — and Regina is not pleased.
It’s no wonder Disney skipped over all the serious, emotional parts of Snow White’s (Ginnifer Goodwin) story: The Jan. 22 episode of Once Upon A Time was depressing! Well, at least until the epic ending when David (Josh Dallas) and Mary Margaret made out in the middle of the street for all of Storybrooke — including Regina (Lana Parrilla) — to see.
