Hayley Atwell

Bio:
Hayley Atwell  (born Hayley Elizabeth Atwell on April 5, 1982 in London, England) is a British-American actress. Hayley grew up in London, attending school before graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2005. She would have her first feature film role in Woody Allen‘s 2007 Cassandra’s Dream. She followed that up with roles in 2008 movies The Duchess and the film adaptation of Brideshead Revisited. As an accomplished stage actress, Hayley appeared in in London’s West End for the 2009 revival of A View from the Bridge, which earned her a Laurence Olivier award nomination. In 2011, Hayley played Agent Peggy Carter in the movie Captain America: The First Avenger, earning her the title of NextMovie.com’s “Breakout Stars To Watch.” She reprised the role for the short film, Agent Carter, before starring in the television shows Marvel’s Agent Carter and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. She’s currently slated to appear as Agent Carter in the upcoming film,  Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Personal Life:
Hayley has dual citizenship in both the US and the UK, as her mother is British while her father is of Native American descent. At age 8, she became a committed vegetarian. As a teenager, Hayley participated in anti-vivisection and Free The Dolphins marches. Hayley is currently dating Evan Jones of the band Keep Up. Previously, she dated Snow Patrol bassist Paul Wilson and writer Gabriel Bisset-Smith.
