American Horror Story: Hotel
Give Sarah Paulson all the awards, now. Not only was she breathtaking in ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ as a drug addict, but who knew that she would film for 12 hours, then go right into Marcia Clark makeup to film ‘American Crime Story: The People V. OJ Simpson.’ Watch this behind-the-scenes video!
“This year, Ryan Murphy asked me to take on a daunting task,” Sarah Paulson says in the new behind-the-scenes clip. “For the past five months, I have been filming, simultaneously, two very different characters on two very different shows.” Of course she’s talking about playing on both Ryan Murphy‘s show — Hypodermic Sally on AHS: Hotel and Marcia Clark, attorney, on American Crime Story: The People V. OJ Simpson. So, what’s the process like? Well “daunting” is a bit of an understatement. Just watch!
Everyone would expect the most graphic, bloody season in ‘American Horror Story’ past to go out the same way it came in — but there was no bloody orgy going down this time around.
You wouldn’t expect to cry like this in American Horror Story. Ok, that’s a lie, we all know Ryan Murphy can make you cry with one simple note, look, or line. On the season finale of AHS: Hotel, things were less gory and more mushy — in the darkest and most brilliant way possible. (Yes, spoilers ahead.)
We’re so excited for PaleyFest 2016. Not only will we hear the Lyons of ‘Empire’ roar, but Ryan Murphy’s ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ and ‘Scream Queens’ will also be in attendance at the event, which takes place March 11-20 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Find out more here!

The full lineup, however, will be announced on Jan. 19. But to see the participating talent thus far, click below.
Ryan Murphy is always great at sprinkling his story lines between every season of ‘American Horror Story’ — and the second to last episode of ‘Hotel’ had one of the best ones ever.
Queenie made her epic return during the penultimate episode of AHS: Hotel! Gabourey Sidibe‘s witchy character from Coven checked into the Cortez midway through the episode and well she had the best lines of the episode. So, did she make it through to next week’s finale? This post does contain spoilers from the last night’s Hotel.
Plus, ‘American Horror Story: Coven’ gets some recognition at the hotel!
In the penultimate episode of American Horror Story: Hotel, we picked off where we left off weeks ago with shots being fired at The Countess (Lady Gaga) and Donovan (Matt Bomer). However, the result wasn’t what Iris (Kathy Bates) and Liz (Denis O’Hare) had hoped for.
You may think you’ve seen all of the ‘Hotline Bling’ dances you need, but the best (and hottest) one just happened on ‘American Horror Story: Hotel.’ Matt Bomer is giving Drake a run for his money. Click to WATCH!
This video of Matt Bomer, 38, dancing to Drake’s “Hotline Bling” is the one thing you need to watch on repeat for the rest of time. Matt boogied down on the Dec. 16 episode of American Horror Story: Hotel to Drake’s hit song while Lady Gaga, 29, watched. Swoon.
Angela Bassett is stirring up trouble on ‘American Horror Story: Hotel,’ and she spilled to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY on working with Lady Gaga, Ramona’s relationship with Donovan, her new video game, ‘Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege,’ and more on our latest podcast! Click to LISTEN!
Angela Bassett, 57, is fierce beyond words. She’s been kicking butt and taking names in Hollywood for a long time, and she’s been stealing the show on American Horror Story for the past three seasons. Angela is featured on our latest HollywoodLife.com podcast and teases a possible hookup with Matt Bomer, 38, on AHS, reveals that she loves playing “evil” characters, and more! Listen now!
The Coutness’ adoration for Tristan made a little more sense this week when we got a flashback to 1925 — and we saw his face again. (RIP Trist!)
People age, but for Lady Gaga, it’s only her hair that (fabulously) changes. This week started nearly a hundred years ago, when she was a flapper — and she had her eye on one man, who looked an awful lot like the man she killed last week.
It can’t be easy going from music to TV — especially when your first role is the leading lady on an established series… and you’re a mad killer. However, Lady Gaga pulls it off perfectly in ‘AHS: Hotel’ as The Countess, but it’s definitely getting to her!
The Countess in American Horror Story: Hotel may be a dedicated mother, and caretaker — but she’s also a cold-blooded killer. Lady Gaga recently spilled all on her first role, admitting that not only does it change the way she thinks, but it does have impact on her relationship with fiancé, Taylor Kinney.
You know ‘Murder House’ was your favorite season — so tonight was probably your favorite ‘Hotel’ episode thus far.
When The Countess (Lady Gaga) wants something, she gets it: men, babies, a hotel. This week’s American Horror Story: Hotel gave us a glimpse at her real baby: her own little monster. And it all started in 1926, with the Countess arriving to a very familiar house to see Dr. Montgomery.
‘I never knew how to live until I died.’ Famous last words or famous first? Well it sounds like the second for Kathy Bates’ Iris.
American Horror Story covered all basis this week — from school violence to cross dressing, and everything in between. But let’s just say, if you aren’t good with blood, this isn’t a good one to watch.
What is Devil’s Night at the Hotel Cortez? Well, Det. John Lowe was on the VIP list as the only one alive, among a table of the most legendary serial killers.
Let’s just dive into Mr. March (Evan Peters)’s “Devil’s Night” dinner that Det. Lowe (Wes Bentley) landed an invite to. Here’s who else was on the guest list: Aileen Wuornos (Lily Rabe), John Wayne Gacy (John Carol Lynch), Richard Ramirez (Anthony Ruivivar), Jeffrey Dahmer (Seth Gable), and the Zodiac Killer.
Here’s the main lesson learned after this week’s ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ — never get on Angela Bassett’s bad side.
We finally were introduced to Ramona (Angela Bassett) for the badass she was — she literally kidnapped Donovan (Matt Bomer) and threw him in her trunk. When he woke up, she was draining his blood. Don’t worry, we’ll explain.
All the seasons of ‘American Horror Story’ are connected, and season five is bringing back Murder House, the house full of ghosts from season one. Lady Gaga was seen filming scenes at the notorious home for ‘Hotel.’ Plus, the Countess is PREGNANT! So, who’s the daddy?
The Countess (Lady Gaga) has some explaining to do. The lady of the Hotel Cortez was spotted outside the infamous Murder House from season one all dolled up and looking like she just stepped out of a time capsule. To make things even crazier, the Countess is seen looking heavily pregnant in all-new photos. Um, so who knocked her up?!
Plus, we finally got to meet the one and only hotel creator, Mr. March. Hello, Evan Peters.
When Will Drake (Cheyenne Jackson) hosts a fashion show at The Cortez, The Countess (Lady Gaga) feasts her eyes on new blood — a coked out model named Tristan (Finn Wittrock). So just when we thought her PIC was Donovan (Matt Bomer), we found out she wasn’t as addicted to him as we all thought.
