The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, turns 39 on Jan. 9, and as the coronavirus rages on, it’s likely she’ll have a low-key day spent with her husband, Prince William, and their three kids: Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2. As Prince William’s wife, Kate always has a lot of royal duties to attend to, but she’s also a very hands-on mom who loves spending time with her children. Whether it’s an official royal event or just hanging out, Kate has shared a ton of sweet, public moments with George, Louis and Charlotte over the years.
Every year, the Royals release a public holiday card to wish all their loyal followers a Merry Christmas. In 2020, the family photo brightened moods all over the world during a difficult time. Considering the coronavirus kept the Royal Family indoors for most of 2020, this was quite a rare glimpse of the kids at the time. Fans were shocked to see how much they had all grown, and Louis’ infectious smile melted hearts everywhere.
Ever since she was a toddler, Princess Charlotte has been known for her sassy attitude. She hasn’t been afraid to stick her tongue out at events, and has been very chatty in the rare videos we’ve seen of the kids. However, even Charlotte knows when to keep things prim and proper! In the photo above, she looked so well behaved while wearing a coat and holding tight to her mom’s hand. Kate was all smiles as she led her little girl through a crowd.
In 2019, Kate was the ultimate doting mom when she took a then one-year-old Prince Louis to one of William’s polo matches. Kate wasn’t afraid to get down and dirty in the grass to play with her toddler. The two were joined by Kate’s sister in law, Meghan Markle, and Meghan and Prince Harry’s son, Archie, for the occasion. Check out the gallery above for more sweet photos of Kate with her three kids!
