Bio: XXXTentacion (born Jasheh Dwayne Onfroy on January 23, 1998 in Plantation, Florida) was an American rapper. After being released from a youth detention center, he started writing music and published it to SoundCloud in 2013. His debut album, 17, was released in 2017 and ? came out a year later. ? debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. On June 18, 2018, XXXTentacion was shot and killed in Miami.

Personal Life:
XXXTentacion has caused controversy for assaulting fans and getting in public feuds with other artists, including Migos and Ski Mask. He was placed on house arrest while facing 15 felony charges in a domestic violence case, including aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, witness tampering and witness harassment. Despite the claims made by his ex-girlfriend, Geneva Ayala, XXXTentacion was let off of house arrest in 2018 to tour. That same year, Spotify announced they wouldn’t be promoting the rapper’s music because he didn’t “reflect their values.”
The Grammy Awards paused on honoring the best performers in today’s music industry to pay its respects to the best of the past! But, sadly, not everyone made the tribute.
