Katie May (born on March 16, 1981 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) was a model, TV host and brand ambassador who had super popular Instagram and Tumblr accounts before her death on Feb. 4, 2016. She was also the self-proclaimed “Queen of Snapchat.”

Before Katie found fame, she was a cheerleader her entire life. She even cheered at the Super Bowl. Later in life, she became a highly-sought after model. Not only was she the face of social sports app JetBet, but she was once the SnapChat correspondent at the MTV Video Music Awards. As a model, she was featured in Playboy, GQ and Esquire. On Feb. 4, 2016, she died as a result of a catastrophic stroke she suffered on Feb. 1.
