Hunter Hayes (born in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana on September 9, 1991) is an American teen country singer. Hunter began making public appearances at the age of four, on shows such as Figure It Out and Rosie. His country music career began to gain steam when he opened for Taylor Swift on her Speak Now World Tour. His debut album is certified gold and in 2012 was nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist. Hunter’s music has appeared on the soundtracks for Footloose and Act of Valor.
