Hilarie Burton is an American actress (born July 1, 1982 as Hilarie Ross Burton) who got her big break on television as a VJ on MTV. Three years after scoring the gig, Hilarie was cast on One Tree Hill where she co-starred for six out of nine seasons. In 2007, Hilarie started her very own production company, and as her career continued to soar she starred in a number of different television shows and movies. From Grey’s Anatomy to Castle to Hostages, she certainly has a wide range!

Hilarie is currently in a relationship with actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, 50. The pair met in 2009, welcomed son Augustus in 2010, and have been together ever since. However, there are conflicting reports about whether or not they are actually married. Before Jeffrey, Hilarie was married to One Tree Hill‘s assistant director, Ian Prange, from 2004 to 2009.
