Eva Mendes (born in Miami, Florida on March 5, 1974) moved to Los Angeles, Calif. at the age of 10, where she made her Hollywood breakout starring alongside Denzel Washington in the 2001 hit film, Training Day. Since then, the Cuban-American actress has starred in dozens of different film roles ranging from romantic comedies to indie dramas. Eva is also known for her gorgeous figure, and has been acknowledged by Maxim and People magazine for her outstanding good looks.

Eva began dating Ryan Gosling in 2011 after the pair met working on their film, The Place Beyond The Pines. In July 2014 it was confirmed that Eva was pregnant, and expecting her first child with Ryan. She gave birth to Esmeralda in September 2014. In April 2016, Eva and Ryan were expecting their second child together.
