Cynthia Bailey (born in Tuscumbia, Alabama on February 19, 1968) is a supermodel, reality television personality and actress. When she was younger, Bailey won beauty pageants before moving to New York City and signing with Wilhelmina Models. She appeared on several magazine covers for ESSENCE, and walked the runways during Fashion Week. As an actress, Bailey had roles on The Cosby Show and starred in the movie Without You I’m Nothing. Bailey runs The Bailey Agency School of Fashion in Atlanta, Georgia, and joined the cast of the Real Housewives of Atlanta starting with season three.

Bailey is married to restauranteur Peter Thomas. Bailey has a daughter, Noelle Robinson, from a previous relationship with actor and singer Leon Robinson. Bailey had a health scare when it was discovered she had fibroids, which are a type of tumor. She had a procedure to treat the tumors, and has since returned to full health.
