The Texas native, 24, was visiting his hometown of Plano, TX June 3, when he was caught with about 2 ounces of marijuana in the parking lot of The Shops at Legacy, a shopping mall. A source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Chace was, contrary to earlier reports, alone and sitting in the driver’s seat of a friend’s 2003 Nissan 350Z when an officer approached him during a routine check. “Chace was rolling a joint,” says our source. “He had a little under 2 ounces of marijuana in a plastic baggy sitting in clear view on the dashboard.”
