Adam Rodriguez (born Adam Michael Rodriguez on April 2, 1975 in Yonkers, New York) is an American actor, screenwriter and director. Adam attended Clarkstown High School. He had hoped to play professional baseball but after an injury, Adam focused more on acting. He performed at a children’s theater in New York and worked as a stockbroker before he switched to full-time acting. Adam’s early career started with commercial work and as an extra in The X-Files. His big break came in 2002, when he joined the cast of CSI: Miami as the role of Eric Delko. He also appeared Bobby, Hilda’s love interest in the 4th season of Ugly Betty. In 2009, Adam starred in the Tyler Perry movie, I Can Do Bad All By Myself. He also appeared in Magic Mike and returned for the 2015 sequel, Magic Mike XXL.

Adam has a daughter, named Frankie Elle, with model Grace Gail.He has been romantically linked in the past to singer, Melanie Fiona. Adam is the son of Ramon Rodriguez, the executive with the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Adam attended high school with New York Giants player Keith Bulluck. Adam has appeared in multiple music videos, including Jennifer Lopez’s “If You Had My Love,” Busta Rhymes, “Respect My Conglomerate” and Lionel Richie’s “I Call It Love.” Adam splits his time between New York City, Los Angeles and his home in Puerto Rico.
