Britney Spears, 39, took to Instagram on Monday, December 14, to share a video of herself dancing in short shorts to “Sex on Fire” by Kings of Leon and revealed that the last time she danced to the sexy song she broke her foot. Fortunately, the “Lucky” singer has fully healed and showed no signs of injury as she twirled in circles joyfully.

Her camera however, did seem a little off. And, in her caption she explained that it was actually broken — but she only realized the issue after more than an hour of dancing. She wrote: “I know, I know…I danced for an hour and a half and realized my camera was busted. The last time I danced to this song was almost a year ago when I broke my foot … thankfully that didn’t happen again !!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL.”

In the slightly blurry Instagram video the beloved singer gave her fans snippets of her long dancing session. She starts off in tiny black shorts and a pastel colored tie-dye bra top, her gym toned body on full display. But partway though the video she changes to a black bra top and the song changes to Janet Jackson‘s 1990’s hit “Free Xone”. The video cuts in between the two songs and outfits, but Britney’s energy remains high throughout.

This new dancing video comes just days after Britney gifted her fans with a major surprise and collaborated with the Backstreet Boys for a brand new track, called “Matches”. The iconic 1990’s group, made up of members Nick CarterHowie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson, united with Britney for the pop banger, which can be found on the deluxe version of Britney’s 2016 album, Glory.

Britney dropped another surprise track, “Swimming in the Stars,” on Dec. 2, as a gift to fans on her 39th birthday. And, back in May, Britney released another bonus track from Glory — “Mood Ring” — which was previously only available in Japan.

Britney shared the news of her collab with the Backstreet Boys on her Instagram page on Dec. 10, writing: “I’m so excited to hear what you think about our song together. You can also listen to Glory Deluxe everywhere now … including ‘Swimming in the Stars’ and the ‘Mood Ring’ remixes !!!! The love you guys have shown this album this year has been stupid amazing…like I can’t even believe it !!! I hope it brings you joy. GOD BLESS YOU ALL !!!!!”

Fans went wild for the new song and begged Britney for more music. Britney hasn’t given any hints about when she will record more music — but it seems it may be a very long time before fans get to see her perform live. Her lawyer Samuel D. Ingham III claimed at her conservatorship hearing on Nov. 10. that Britney is allegedly refusing to perform as long as her father, Jamie Spears, “is in charge of her career.”

Britney has been trying to remove her father from her conservatorship but a Los Angeles superior court judge reportedly denied that request during the hearing. Britney’s next hearing is set for Dec. 16.
