Like many daring stars, Pauly took to the hair plunge and went platinum blonde for the holiday season. He showed off his hair makeover in a car selfie on Thursday, and he’s already given his new do’ a nickname. “Activate Super Saiyan DJ Mode……,” Pauly captioned his Instagram post.
In a separate post — which showed the DJ posing alongside his motorcycle in a fresh pair of high-top Nikes — Pauly wrote, “Just Trying To See If [it’s] True That Blondes Have More Fun…” His Jersey Shore co-stars and reality star friends alike shared their opinions in the comments.
“Boom,” Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, who’s expecting his first child, wrote. He further expressed his approval by adding a muscle and dynamite emojis. Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy wrote, “A [fire] look mate,” using numerous flame emojis. Fans followed suit with similar comments and guesses as to who Pauly resembles now that he’s a fresh blonde. “I thought this was Guy Fieri,” one Instagram user shared in reference to the famous Food Network star.
Fans of the Double Shot at Love star will know that one of Pauly’s prized possessions is his hair. In the beginning seasons of Jersey Shore, viewers witnessed the amount of time and massive amounts of hair products that goes into his (very tall) hairdo’. And, let’s not forget about the time when a meme comparing his locks to a Reese’s Cup went viral. The chocolate brand even gifted Pauly with a lifetime supply of Reese’s.
