The FBI, in response to Freedom of Information Act requests, has released 128 pages of documents on Whitney Houston, including several fan letters and FBI paperwork pertaining to an extortion case that was closed without anyone being prosecuted. Whitney, however, allegedly paid off the person to keep quiet. The details are being revealed one year after Whitney’s untimely passing.

An Extortion Plot Against Whitney Houston

A letter dated from 1992, which was marked “extortion” by the FBI, was sent to Whitney’s New Jersey offices of Nippy Inc., USA Today reports. The author, a woman who Whitney considered a “friend,” demanded that unless the singer paid her $100,000, she would reveal “certain details” of her “private life.” A follow-up letter raised the amount to $250,000 and this “friend” claimed to have “intimate details” of Whitney’s “romantic relationships.”

In an interview with the FBI, Whitney admitted that she ”did discuss personal things” with this person.

According to the documents, Whitney’s father sent a letter of confidentiality to this unnamed person with a considerable amount of money, which was blacked out by the FBI. The case was closed soon after.

Whitney Houston Received Crazy Fan Letters

One fan, who the FBI identified as a threat, wrote: “Miss Whitney, you are just so pretty and so beautiful. I just cannot stop thinking about you. Many times when I think about you I will start to shake….. I really and truly am in love with you.”

And in another letter, a fan wrote, “Over the past 17 months, I have sent … 66 letters to Miss Whitney. … I have been to 9 of Miss Whitney’s concerts and I have tried to give her flowers twice at the concerts. … When I first fell in love with Miss Whitney Houston I tried to ignore what I felt towards her. After 5 months I had to do something so I started writing letters. I have tried to stop writing the letters and to give up twice but after a few weeks I had to start writing again. I have gotten mad at her a few times. … it scares me that I might come up with some crazy or stupid or really dumb idea that might be as bad or even worse than that… I might hurt someone with some crazy idea.”

He later wrote, ”Miss Whitney, why can’t you respond to my 70 plus letters? … You probably think I’m crazy. Well, (maybe) I am. I just can’t give up. I have to keep trying. I really am in love with you.”

It’s so sad that these intimate details of Whitney’s life are now being released — one year after her death. Sadly, Whitney is no longer here to defend herself.

Say it isn’t so, please. Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown‘s troubled 19-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, may, in fact, be four months pregnant and battling a serious depression, if a new report is to be believed.

The National Enquirer is reporting that those closest to Bobbi K are deeply worried she’s with child and, even worse, suicidal.

“For weeks she’s been looking like she’s pregnant and it’s a big worry because she has gone off the rails again, suffering deep depression,” a source tells the publication.

Meanwhile, the tabloid adds that family members are urging Bobbi Kristina’s ex-boyfriend, Nick Gordon, to move into her town house to look after her and help her cope with her depression.

“Even though they initially didn’t approve of  Nick when he and Krissi (Bobbi Kristina’s nickname) first got together, they now want him back in her life to keep her under control,” the source adds. “They know he’s about the only person who has a calming effect on her. He’s very protective of her and can hopefully keep her from self destructing.”

This shocking report comes literally one year after Whitney’s tragic death, when she apparently drowned in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills on Feb. 11.

Chris, 23, made a bold claim on Instagram, suggesting that the music we listen to today would be completely different without the existence of Breezy and RiRi. One thing is certain — Chris knows how to stir up controversy on social media outlets.

“What would music today sound like if [Rihanna and I] didn’t exist?” Chris asked his followers on Instagram on Dec. 2.

Unfortunately, Chris’ fans didn’t necessarily agree that he and Rihanna are responsible for today’s great music.

One fan said, “It would sound like real r&b.” Another added, “Wayyyyyyyy betterrrrr.”

Bobbi Kristina Brown and her man Nicholas Gordon wanted to commemorate Whitney Houston‘s memory with matching tattoos of a dove and her initials. The couple filmed it all for their show on Lifetime: Houston Family Values.

“Now the family is out of town Nick and I are going to get matching tattoos in memory of our mother,” Bobbi said. “They will be WH and four doves. The doves are me, Nicholas, my grandfather and my mother. They were my heroes and now I can look down and my mother, she’s my guardian angel.”

On the series premiere of The Houstons: On Our Own, Bobbi Kristina butted heads with her family over underage drinking, starting her career, and defending her engagement to her stepbrother Nick Gordon.

While some have raised eyebrows at the idea of the Houston family filming a reality show only three months after Whitney Houston’s passing, the episode begins with a touching moment — Bobbi visiting Whitney’s grave for the very first time. It’s raw and feels very personal.

However, the series quickly moves into the dramatic sorts as Bobbi enjoys an alcoholic drink — and she’s only 19 years old.

“She’s not at drinking age,” her aunt Patricia Houston complains.

Aside from going against her aunt’s wishes, the reality show also focuses on Bobbi’s relationship with stepbrother/fiance Nick. Pat wishes Bobbi would focus on her career rather than Nick, pushing her to see an acting coach in order to help with her grieving.

“Acting is a refuge for me,” Bobbi admits.

And for those that may not understand Nick, who was taken in by Whitney, and Bobbi’s relationship, he tells the cameras, “Everyone gets it wrong, I was never officially… it’s not incest.”
