Chris Brown must always live with his violent past against Rihanna, which is now forever documented on the Feb. 27 episode of Law & Order: SVU. But rather than a straight re-telling of Chris and Rihanna’s story, the writers took things a little further, predicting what could happen if a “promising singer” were to stay with her “popular hip-hop star” boyfriend and remain silent when he acted out.

The Episode Begins With The Beating

The episode awkwardly began with a caption on the screen telling us it was not based on anyone in real life. We see a young singer named Misha performing a duet with Caleb Bryant — interesting initials “CB” — showing that they are really in love with each other. Dave Navarro plays the sound engineer, and one of the few people excited that Misha will become a singing sensation. Then, two seconds after kissing on Misha, Caleb moves onto a background singer that looks exactly like Karrueche Tran. Misha obviously sees what is going on, but instead of handling it like a man, Caleb beats her up in front of a handful of people.

Caleb is a big jerk, getting a hold of his lawyer by saying, “Somebody call my jew!” when he gets arrested for the beating that has now been blasted all over Perez Hilton‘s website. What’s also interesting is that when this happens, they actually have the words “Chris Brown & Rihanna” on screen. Comparing this beating to the one of Chris and RiRi were involved in is art imitating life.

The Chris Brown Character (Caleb Bryant) Gets Away With The Assault

Though he is arrested, Caleb goes onto The Wendy Williams Show to apologize, offering Misha a friendship ring. Then he actually violates a restraining order when the police find him in bed with her, so he gets sent to court and receives another slap on the wrist. The cops continue to be frustrated that he gets away with things, over and over. Caleb even gets arrested again when he is found with pot, but Misha continues to fall in love with him. Going back to the man who abused her; it certanly sounds like Rihanna and Chris, doesn’t it?

Truth & Fiction Begin To Blur

During a record release party, Caleb breaks his restraining order again, shooting and killing his former band manager, and harming Misha again. Caleb may be a huge thug, but he has tons of talent, so his fans and the law are at an odds. Misha continues to lie for her love, even covering for him while the police visit her in the hospital.

But it’s the death of his former band manager, who is now Misha’s band manager, that really gets the case moving forward — because she actually cares for the man she calls “Brass.” The cops bring Brass’s family to make Misha start talking, and it works.

Misha (Rihanna) Finally Tells The Cops The Truth

Misha claims it all started when she found a text on Caleb’s phone in a club from another girl. That was the first beating, which was actually very similar to Chris and Rihanna’s infamous moment in 2009 when he beat her after arguing over a text! Back to the show, Misha admits that Caleb shot Brass and the case moves forward to get Caleb the punishment he deserves.

Misha & Caleb’s Shocking Twist Ending

Caleb goes back to court but Misha doesn’t tell the truth on all the incidents which gets the case thrown out, and the cops are understandably very upset. The police suggest that the next thing that will happen is that Caleb will kill her — and they’re right! Caleb and Misha go to Bermuda on a private yacht, and when she angers him after another text, he kills her.

Overall, the show took a lot of liberties in re-telling — and adding a great deal onto — the couple’s story.

The head makeup artist for Dancing With the Stars tells us her favorite products for showtime!

Melanie Mills, spokesperson for Anastasia Beverly Hills and Head Makeup Artist for Dancing with the Stars, tell us about the products that the show’s stars can’t live without!The makeup for the show is so crucial– it has to have staying power, since Melanie says “we’re applying this stuff at 8 AM and they go on at 5 PM.” And everyone gets made up, including the guys! “With all the powerful lights there has to be some makeup and powder to knock down shine.”

Here are some of Melanie’s can’t-live-without products:

St. Tropez: “One of the key things we do with makeup for the show is tanning. I developed a color with St. Tropez because a lot of other brands weren’t working. The first step for getting our cast ready for the week is a spray tan on Sunday, for a nice, even finish. On show day, they get another layer of tan applied with a sponge.”

Gleam by Melanie Mills: “I came up with a product called Gleam by Melanie Mills– it’s a fabulous concoction that makes bodies look velvety, luscious, and dewy. Nobody wants to go on without the Gleam, because when you don’t have it you look flat!”

beautyblender: “A lot of people ask if we airbrush on foundation. I believe in the opposite: I feel like airbrush sits on top of skin and doesn’t become one with the skin, so I like to use liquid and cream foundation. A staple we don’t live without is the beautyblender, a reusable sponge that you wet. I think using this to blend it in is why the foundation looks so flawless.”

Anastasia Brow Products: “Another super key point for the show is beautiful eyebrows. I work with Anastasia, and all of their brow stuff is amazing– really, really great.” Melanie explains that Kendra Wilkinson has difficult eyebrows because, as a child, a friend accidentally shaved off her eyebrows trying to make her up. “She says no one has done them like I have— it takes me fifteen minutes, and I use a combination of products like the Brow Wiz and Tinted Brow Gel.”

Anastasia Eye Shadow: “Anastasia has come out with gorgeous cosmetics and skincare. I absolutely love their entire beauty line: it’s super high quality, and the colors are highly pigmented and good to work with and blend.”

Angel’s Makeup Collagen Pads: “These are little miracles. I’ve gone through so many eye collagen pads, I can’t even tell you. I use them on the whole cast– even the guys– and put them under their eyes while doing their makeup. When you peel them off, it’s crazy. They’re the best, as far as I’m concerned. They’re not cheap, but the results last 2-4 days.”

Ardell Lashes: “Eyelashes are crazy important– nobody goes on without eyelashes, whether it’s a box of individuals or 2-4 strips. I give Wendy Williams 4 pairs of lashes, because she’s got big gorgeous eyes and they can take it. Our favorite are Ardell, which are the best out there.”

Melanie Mills, spokesperson for Anastasia Beverly Hills and Head Makeup Artist for Dancing with the Stars, tell us about the stars of the hit show, and how she gets them camera-ready!

ABOUT THE STARS

Because they spend hours together each day, Melanie knows each cast member so well! She says that this season’s stars are “so nice and fun,” and that their personalities are “actually a lot like what you see.” Here’s her take on a few fan favorites!

• Petra Nemcova is “so elegant, so sweet, so kind, just lovely. She’s a fabulous beauty but very humble.”
• Kirstie Alley is “a fun, crazy gal. She’s hilarious and a hoot to be around and have fun with.”
• Wendy Williams is “sophisticated but fun, and has a lot to say about everything! She loves her makeup and wants it piled on. One cute thing about her is as the makeup starts to get completed she almost starts to purr, she gets so excited! She’s been taking fun pictures of herself through process and Tweeting them–she loves the process.”
• Kendra Wilkinson is “so cool and really down to earth. She’s a tomboy. She’s really nice and loves her baby and her husband, and has really been missing her baby lately. Her husband [Hank Baskett] is so cute, too– he comes in and they’re just adorable together. She’s really into the competition and wants to win!”

GETTING READY FOR SHOWTIME

Melanie explains the grueling process of getting dancers ready for the competition: “They all get three to four hours of hair and makeup every day– half go into hair for an hour and half go into makeup, and they’re practicing in between.”

Why all the hair and makeup? Since the outfits are so wild (glitter and bright colors!), Melanie explains that “you have to balance the outfits– if you don’t have makeup on you look absolutely naked.” To keep the process fun, Melanie creates a festive atmosphere in the makeup trailer: “We have music pumping, we’re dancing– we create a fun environment in there!”

‘Dancing With The Stars’ kicked off with Kendra Wilkinson, Wendy Williams, Romeo, Kirstie Alley and the night’s big winner — Ralph Macchio! Do you think the judges got it right?

Season 12 of Dancing With The Stars stepped off  with plot twists and unexpected turns. Some of the most-anticipated stars – like Wendy Williams — didn’t quite live up to the hype and hopes we had for them. Other celebs  – like Romeo and Ralph Macchio surprised us with their moves.

The judges said Ralph’s foxtrot put the Karate Kid at the head of the class for now. But Kirstie Alley’s jaw-dropping cha-cha made her a close second. And who knew Disney star Chelsea Kane and  NFL star Hines Ward could master such technique?

Kendra, as expected, had the audience with her for her cha-cha but the judges were not as supportive. But we think she’ll be in it to the end!

Kirstin Says: Kirstie Alley Might Win ‘Dancing With The Stars!’

While everyone at the HollywoodLife.com office is buzzing about which dancer they were really impressed with last night, I was more concerned by the costumes they were wearing, especially since I recently met the DWTS costume designer, Randall Christensen! Knowing how they make the costumes in just four days, I was impressed with what we saw on the first night.

Sure, everything is glitzy and over-the-top, but that’s exactly what a dancing costume is all about — it is a costume, after all! While Wendy really put her assets on full display (I was afraid they were going to pop out and hit her partner in the face!), Kirstie’s get-up was perfect for the star. She was definitely comfortable and confident in the dress, which led to an amazing performance. While Kendra was a bit covered up, the reality star already looked slimmer!

While so many gals opted so show off their gams, Disney darling Chelsea Kane and model Petra Nemcova went for longer looks — while they both looked stunning, I’m sure they’re hiding great gams under those dresses!

Kendra’s dress reminded me of the typical dancing get-up, but I think Chelsea was my fave! Which look did you like best?

The list has been released! Here are the stars that will be competing on season 12 of ‘Dancing With The Stars!’

ABC announced the competitors of the all-new Dancing With The Stars season 12 on Feb 28! Sugar Ray Leonard, Chelsea Kane, the original Karate Kid Ralph Macchio, Petra Nemcova, Lil’ Romeo, Kendra Wilkinson, Hines Ward, Chris Jericho, Kirstie Alley, Wendy Williams and Mike Catherwood are the 11 stars that will be tearing up the dance floor!

So what will the first week be like for this incredible cast? “We’re just here trying not to fall on our butts the first week,” Kristie laughed.
