The fierce five, McKayla Maroney, Kyla Ross, Jordyn Wieber, Aly Raisman and Gabby Douglas, reunited in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 15 for an audience including President Barack Obama.

“All together again!! FIERCE 5 reunited. So good being back with my best friends,” McKayla, 16, tweeted Nov. 15. ”Did I just do the Not Impressed face with the President . . . ?” she added.

McKayla’s “not impressed” face became popular when she showcased it after receiving the silver medal in the Olympic women’s vault competition on August 5.

As all were preparing for the VMA’s at the Staple Center, the 2012 NBA Baller Beats by XBOX 360 VMA Lounge was taking place at the Ritz Carlton Residences at LA LIVE. Celebrity guests came to support VH1’s Save the Music Foundation- such as AJ Mclean, Teenwolf’s Tyler Hoechlin who played Baller Beats basketball by XBOX. JLO’S Casper Smart stopped by the lounge and drank water, as partygoers learned that he was just starting a “Cleanse”, while The Far East Movement sipped on Voli Light Vodka and REFINE Mixed specialty cocktails.

The Gold Medal Olympians- Fab 5- Jordan Weiber, Kyla Ross, Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, and Aly Raisman were dressed to impress for the VMA red carpet, but could not stay long enough to get pampered in the LE POSH Salon Lounge. The girls all posed for a picture with VMA Nominated band, The Wanted. While the Fab 5 hit the carpet, the boys of The Wanted -Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker, Max George and Nathan Sykes – picked up new head phones in the Velodyne Acoustics listening room.

Later that night VMA guests enjoyed the perfect panoramic view of Los Angeles at the Ritz Carlton destination while sipping on the newly launched sparkling liqueur by Timbaland- LeSutra. Guests were also treated to a private listening session by the one and only Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan of Karmin.

As an added bonus, specialty cocktails were provided by Voli Light Vodka and REFINE Mixers in the afternoon, and Timbaland’s newly-debuted LeSutra in the evening.

The phrase ‘McKayla Maroney is not impressed‘ went viral after the 16-year-old power vaulter very visibly expressed her dissatisfaction, (like a true teenager in a bad mood), after missing the gold in the 2012 Olympic Games — and just when you thought the joke was over, Prince William comes along and revives the trend, showing off a similar expression that rivals McKayla’s signature biatch look.

From what we know about Prince William, there’s definitely no way his appearance at the Paraolympics Opening Ceremony was what caused the Prince to give us such stink eye — in fact, just today he was all smiles while doing the wave with Kate and taking in the games (yes, THE wave! How commoner of them!).

So, what gives? Could Wills have had something caught in his teeth? Perhaps he wasn’t pleased with the fact that the Kate and the Queen turned up in coordinating coats? Maybe he’s still stewing about Prince Harry’s wild ways? We do know reports quoted that the Prince was “not impressed” with his brother’s scandalous vacation — now it’s all making sense!

Regardless of what might have ruffled William’s feathers, I think the comparison is hysterical. McKayla, if you ever need a double you know who to call, (although personally, I think the Prince’s expression has nothing on McKayla’s ice queen glare).

Olympian Mckayla Maroney is making headlines for not only being an amazing gymnast — but also for her “not impressed” face. The 16-year-old’s pout shocked the world after she failed to win gold in the individual vault final during the 2012 London Olympics.

And even though she now has internet memes and a Tumblr inspired by her scowl –which is creatively named “Mckayla is not impressed” — she thinks the whole craze is something to laugh about!

“I think it’s really funny. At first, I was really confused and I couldn’t believe that just from making that face for two seconds it could turn into that, but I guess in my head I was just disappointed that I fell on my butt at the Olympics. And when the National Athem was playing, and it wasn’t my country, I was just thinking in my head, like just dangit, and that’s what my face did,” she told reporters in NYC after lighting the Empire State Building on Aug. 14. ”And I guess it turned into some big thing. It’s kind of funny.”

We’re happy to hear she’s found humor in the situation! And even though she didn’t take home the gold on that grim day, she eventually snagged that medal — along with the rest of her teammates — in the women’s team final!
