#1) J-Lo Rocked Our Socks Off — Adios Marc Anthony!

As if there wasn’t proof enough already that age is no longer ANY issue for women – J-Lo , 42, kicked age and Marc Anthony to the curb and into the stratosphere with her kick butt performance of “On the Floor.” When she whipped off her sequin semi-nude gown to reveal an almost entirely nude look with just a few strategically-placed sequins, she served notice that this performance would be her best yet!

And can we add, that she also hands down PROVED that you can be sexy as hell with womanly thighs and a real butt! Hear that — diet obsessors!

#2) Nicki Minaj Rocked The Show from the Opening Seconds

It’s not everyone that can get a party started in an instant, but Nicki Minaj proved she could with hyper-energetic renditions of hits “Turn Me On” and “Super Bass.” If anyone planned on dozing off on the couch through the AMAs, she served notice that that was NOT an option.

Thank you guys for being such hilarious weirdos and such fantastic dancers. Plus, thank you for inviting Justin Bieber onstage to dance his feet off. Though sorry Justin — you’re good, but your prodigy status still doesn’t apply to dancing.

#5) The Show in the Audience Was As Fun to Watch As the Stage!

How cute were Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez snuggling and holding hands and just having an amazing date in front of our eyes in their matching 1920s outfits?

• Then even cuter — BFFs Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez sitting side by side giggling, talking, clapping, dancing and goofing together. I was having a good time watching their good time.

• Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith dancing to Marc Anthony and Pitbull!

Didn’t you love how musicians ACTUALLY don’t mind admitting they’re thrilled and having a good time at their awards shows AND they most of all — thank their fans and NOT their agents. They make A-list movie stars look like wax figures.

#5 A) Honorable mentions to totally entertaining performances by Chris Brown, Pitbull, Justin Bieber and The Band Perry. Plus, Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera …who certainly gave people lots to talk and tweet about!

As Britney wiggled awkwardly on the stage for ‘GMA,’ all I could think about was the old Britney’s killer moves! Will she ever come back?

Don’t get me wrong, I love Britney Spears! I’d dance on my bed for hours in middle school practicing my “Hit Me Baby” moves. But how in the world has Britney lost her amazing choreography? A Britney concert used to be the ultimate experience with pyrotechnics, intricate costumes and Britney’s enviable dancing skills. But during her GMA Spring Concert Series performance on March 29 I was incredibly disappointed.

Britney started with “Hold It Against Me” which I have been known to recently play on repeat. But watching Britney climb down those stairs so unsteadily brought a flood of memories that made me sad. This was Britney’s chance to shown the world she was back.

But watching her stumble through three songs at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco looked more like a rehearsal! And clearly Enrique Iglesias felt the same way — he dropped out of touring with her this summer after the performance aired!

I absolutely love all of Britney’s songs off her new Femme Fatale album, which drops today. But is she just not taking these concerts seriously  anymore? She might just be over it. Maybe she’s been on stage too long?

Britney was cast in the Mickey Mouse Club when she was just 10 and reached mega-fame at 16. She’s definitely come a long way since her public meltdown in 2007! Now she’s a mom-of-two we always see at her son’s Little League games.

Whatever — Britney appears to have lost that extra spark that set her apart. I will always love her music but I don’t know if she’ll ever be able to give performances as jaw-dropping as her early days.

It was one epic concert that not even the guys who were dragged to could avoid loving! Between Enrique Iglesias’ songs, beautiful Anna Kournikova supporting her man by dancing on the sound stage and a serious amount of confetti it was a memorable occasion. The two best parts are probably when the mega star brought three couples on stage and let them sing along with him — leaving the girls speechless and one guy crying — and when he stopped the concert to one guy propose and then serenaded the couple!

Overall, this is one concert is one that you should at least experience once — even if you have your doubts — he truely is a great performer and entertainer, not to mention he really engages himself with the audience. The venue also couldn’t have been any better because once the concert was over there was plenty to do. From clubs such as Mixx and Mur.Mur, to dining at my fav, SeaBlue, to gambling the night away — you have your pick!

This year the Black Eyed Peas will be taking over the epic halftime show with a fifteen minute medley of their best songs. Rumor has it they will be rocking outrageous fashions and busting out crazy dance moves. The Super Bowl stage has housed music legends like Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, and Justin Timberlake. Will the Black Eyed Peas rise to the occasion and bring enough heat to make Janet Jackson‘s wardrobe malfunction look like nothing more than a small kitchen fire, or will their performance sizzle short? Janet Jackson, Diddy, Nelly, Kid Rock and Justin Timberlake (Super Bowl 2004): This show-stopping performance got more attention for its infamous “wardrobe malfunction” controversy than its hot musical performances. This Super Bowl halftime show was so outrageous that now the FCC requires a five second delay on live broadcasts to prevent any more surprise flashing.
2. Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Aerosmith, *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige and Nelly (Super Bowl 2001): There is nothing American pop culture loves more than the union of the prince and princess of pop music: Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. At the height of their pop art careers they wowed millions of viewers with a joint medley.
3. Michael Jackson (Super Bowl 1993): Before all the drama, Michael Jackson was one of the most amazing pop performers of our country. At the pinnacle of his career  he became the game changer for the Super Bowl, making it one of the most watched events on television. After he crooned “Billy Jean” on center stage, it became tradition that only A-list musicians could perform during halftime.
4. The Rolling Stones (Super Bowl 2006): A throwback to the legends of Rock ‘n’ Roll, The Rolling Stones brought an edgy performance to the Super Bowl by rocking out classics like ‘(I can’t get no) satisfaction’ and ‘Start me up.’
5. Phil Collins, Christina Aguilera, Enrique Iglesias and Toni Braxton (Super Bowl 2000): This Disney-themed production featured great music and utter hotness with a duet from two sizzling latin performers Enrique Iglesias and Christina Aguilera.
6. Prince (Super Bowl 2007): Prince stole the show with some of his greatest hits and a cover of the Foo Fighter’s hit ‘The Best of You.’Prince was dubbed to have the best guitar solo in Super Bowl history.
7. Shania Twain, No Doubt and Sting (Super Bowl 2003): This performance featured two girl-power ballads sung by female icons Country crooner Shania and punk rocker Gwen. The boys had their fun too in a duet with Sting and Gwen Stefani.
8. New Kids on the Block (Super Bowl 1991): This Small World tribute featured America’s favorite boy bad New Kids on The Block, Mickey Mouse, and 2,000 local children in the audience. Its amazing how 20 years later the New Kids on the Block are still on the scene.
9. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (Super Bowl 2008): This band brought the heat with good old American classic like ‘Free Fallin’ and ‘American Girl.’
10. The Who (Super Bowl 2010): Last year’s Super Bowl Performer played it old school with some of their greatest classic hits like CSI theme song ‘Who are you.’
