Nick Robinson (bornNicholas John Robinson on March 22, 1995 in Seattle, Wa.) is an American actor and the oldest of five children in his family. At just 9 years old Nick’s parents enrolled him in a children’s theater group called Broadway Bound, and he later made his stage debut at 11 in A Christmas Carol. In 2009 Nick landed his role on Melissa & Joey after only his second television audition, and in 2011 he co-starred in the Disney Channel movie Frenemies alongside Zendaya and Bella Thorne. However, it was his lead role in the 2013 indie The Kings of Summer that was caught the eyes of critics and filmmakers everywhere. In 2016, Nick will star alongside Chloe Moretz in the highly anticipated film adaptation of The 5th Wave, a sci-fi novel by Rick Yancey.
