Bio:
Taylor Kitsch (born April 8, 1981 in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada) is a Canadian actor. After his hockey career was ended by a knee injury, Taylor moved to New York in 2002 to pursue modeling and study acting. He moved to Los Angeles in 2004, where he worked for Diesel and Abercrombie & Fitch, and by 2006, he was cast in his most well-known role: Tim Riggins in the hit series Friday Night Lights. He went on to star in buzzed-about films, including Battleship, Savages, alongside Blake Lively, Lone Survivor, and HBO’s The Normal Heart. In 2014, he was cast in Season 2 of of HBO’s True Detective, premiering June 21, 2015.

Personal Life:
Before he became an actor, Taylor played junior ice hockey in the British Columbia Hockey League, but his career was cut short by a knee injury. He is known to keep his personal life very private.
