Talk about blast from the blast! It’s been nearly 20 years since Freddie Prinze Jr., 40, and his friends scared us straight in the thriller, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and we are still frightened of fishermen with a hook for a hand. But Freddie revealed whether or not fans could be getting ready for another scare with a third installment to the horror franchise. His answer may shock you!
NBC is struggling to find a place on its roster for the Cruel Intentions reboot series, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar. The network released its fall 2016 schedule on May 15, and the show didn’t make the cut. Instead, the lineup is cluttered with a bunch of unnecessary Chicago-based spinoffs. If NBC doesn’t end up giving Cruel Intentions an official series order, I think they’re making a HUGE mistake.
The Cruel Intentions TV show is officially underway at NBC, and while it’s set to focus on Sebastian’s son, we know that Kathryn Merteuil is also back, and that means hello Sarah Michelle Gellar. On March 7, the 38-year-old shared a behind the scenes pic on set of the reboot, and we have to say, she hasn’t aged a day!
Aw! Sarah Michelle Gellar, 38, celebrated the 17th anniversary of the movie Cruel Intentions on March 5 by getting ready for the TV reboot series! SMG is transforming herself into the seductive Kathryn once again — and she started by dyeing her hair back brown!
How much is too much? Well, this is it. It seems that as a TV writer, every day there is news breaking of a new TV show being remade or rebooted — either the original cast is coming back and picking up where they left off, or a whole new group is taking on the original story. Either way, the ideas are still one thing: old.
We’re so dead right now. After weeks of negotiations, Sarah Michelle Gellar has finally agreed to reprise her role from 1999’s Cruel Intentions as the female lead in NBC’s followup series based on the movie.
In a world of revivals and reboots, it doesn’t come as a surprise that NBC is trying again — this time with 1999’s Cruel Intentions. The film’s director and writer Roger Kumble will take a modern spin on the film, which we know is still a hit after 16 years. When it was made into a musical last summer, the original Annette, Katherine and Cecile attended! Selma Blair, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Reese Witherspoon all would definitely approve.
It was a fun night at the May 28 performance Cruel Intentions the Musical in LA! Not only did the original Annette, Katherine and Cecile attend the sold out show, but they did one of their own. Yes, below you will see Selma Blair and Sarah Michelle Gellar reenacting that epic kiss that happened in the park — while Reese Witherspoon awkwardly looks on. (So Annette of her!)
Reese Witherspoon, 39, posted pics of a May 28 adventure with her former Cruel Intentions co-stars, Selma Blair, 42, and Sarah Michelle Gellar, 38, calling it the “best girls night of the year!” The ladies staged an epic reunion of the best ’90s movie ever when they attended a showing of Cruel Intentions the Musical in Los Angeles. The only person missing was Ryan Phillippe. Maybe next time?
