MTV has decided to cancel the hit reality series Buckwild a little more than a week after one of the show’s stars, Shain Gandee, 21, was found dead from carbon monoxide poisoning in his Ford Bronco. The show follows a group of kids in rural West Virginia, but production was stopped halfway through filming the second season.

Shain’s family had requested guests to wear camouflage as a mark of respect to Shain, but instead hundreds of mourners arrived in neon shirts saying “Gandee Candee,’ including Shain’s mother Loretta. Wearing neon pink, Loretta spoke at her son’s funeral and said she knew that he had safely gone to heaven. So sad.

As more and more details emerge following Shain’s tragic death, the Kanawha Sheriff’s office have confirmed that Shain was sitting in the driver’s seat of his Broncho truck when he was found dead.

The Buckwild star, 21, was found dead in the driver’s seat of his 1984 Ford Broncho truck, and so Shain has been identified by the police as the driver in the accident that killed Shain, his uncle David Gandee, and a friend. So sad.
