Brooks Ayers

Bio:
Brooks Ayers (born David Brooks Ayers in Mississippi in 1968) is an American businessperson and reality television personality. Brooks grew up in his native state of Mississippi, even attending Mississippi State. He relocated to California after he started dating Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson. The two reportedly met in May 2007 at an insurance and investment conference in Atlanta. Brooks became a part of RHOC in 2012, appearing in over 80 episodes. Brooks and Viki had a troubled relationship, with Brooks admitting to cheating on her. There was allegedly at least one instance of violence between them, when Brooks saying he violently grabbed her out of a fit of jealously. The couple seemed to split for good in Aug. 2015, releasing a joint statement about their break-up. Brooks said he was diagnosed with cancer in 2013. In Nov. 2015, Brooks was accused of faking his cancer diagnosis, after it was revealed he wasn’t treated for stage 3 non-Hodgkin Lymphoma at City of Hope in Los Angeles, like he claimed. Brooks admitted he never went there, he still claimed to have cancer.

Personal Life:
Prior to his relationship with Vicki, Brooks was reportedly married to two other women. Brooks was allegedly arrested in both Mississippi and Alabama for not paying support to his ex, Kim. He also reportedly owed more than $40,000 to an ex in Indiana. He has two children – Reagan Ayers and Joey Ayers.
